Interesting thing with SA. My profile actually expired about a week ago however I'm still able to use the mobile app. I haven't logged into the site since my profile expired as I'm afraid that it will sync up with the mobile app and I'll be blocked. But I've been able to search and message girls just fine with an expired account on the mobile app. Anyone else ever have this happen?

I haven't used the SA mobile app yet. You would still be able to log in to the website too, if you haven't tried, you just won't be able to read msgs from them. I think you're saying the mobile app lets you continue to read their messages even though your paid membership expired? From a tech perspective, logging into the website probably won't sync them. However, what's making that work could be stored in temporary storage on your phone, and could expire a number of ways (by itself in time, next time you power down your phone completely, next app update, etc). Hard to say without insider info. Is the mobile app something new? If so it could be a bug that takes them months to figure out.

I don't know how long your POT has been silent but don't assume you've made a mistake. Sometimes "life" will delay a SB response rather than a intentional silence. If anything, the POT should be happy you are trying to be up front about the amount of sugar needed to satisfy Her needs. If you haven't had the time or inclination to go back a read as many pages of this thread as possible, I'd recommend you find the time. An alternative is to alter the words in part of your profile when you go dark. Something that could explain your non response, but arouse interest for when you return.

Eg. "I am now overseas for a few months on vacation / business, but when I get back. Etc etc".

Tailor the message to your target audience possibly. Eg, " My present SB and her husband are in pretty dire financial straits at the moment, so I am with her as much as I can, and can only start answering others when my present SB is back on her feet. " Obviously, you tailor it for the particular target audience, and not use that one".

Yeah, that's one possibility, but if like me and you know you're going to be dark for a long period of time, it's better to delete and start anew, because of the contact attempts. It's frustrating to get mail from someone and you can't read it. Also I had a couple of cases where girls I already had on either email or text tried to contact me via the website. They don't really think about the fact I might not be able to read them there. At least that way if they really need to contact me they are forced to go to mail or text, where I can read it. It would be easy enough for SA to put something in place to solve this problem, but they don't because they know it's a revenue generator. Horny bastards like us have trouble resisting reading those messages or seeing what new POTS have appeared. Since I can't act on them, I'd rather vote with my wallet against their policies and just delete my account until I need it again. It only takes a couple of minutes to sign back up and fill in all the fields.

I prefer to just delete my account whenever the end of my "season" rolls around, and create a new one as needed. The reason is SA will just keep hounding you with girls who contact you, but who think you're being rude by not responding, and it just tempts you to pony up the credit card to see what the fuss is about. Ever contacted a girl and wondered why the fuck she didn't respond if she just logged in yesterday? Well I don't want to be one of those people who doesn't respond.

I have a big problem with any website that won't let you control profile visibility, with or without payment. So I make sure they don't get my money unless I'm really going to use it, and I usually make enough contacts such that if I have an unexpected vacation from the SO and need some company, I usually have enough email and phone contacts from the prior season to make that happen. The fact that SA won't let you hide your profile without either paying or cancelling your account is one reason I intentionally minimize how much money I pay them.

As a bonus of complete account tear-down and recreate, I get the "newness" of a new profile, a new start, and new visibility on girls radar (specifically if they are searching by original signup date for new members) every time the new season rolls around.
