After seeing her ad and texting back and forth I drove to the location. After waiting about 45 minutes she told me the room number. She is the girl in the picture, a quick hug and I laid the donation down. 80 for a qv. I won't meet anyone I've not actually spoken to on the phone, unless they're very highly reviewed. Voice can tell you many things about a person that texting won't (I. E. Are they female, approximate age, are they stoned, are they aggressive or unfriendly, etc). It can be misleading, though, like the young hottie Amber who visited twice about 6 months ago and then disappeared. She had an odd voice that was concerning over the phone but very sexy in person.

That said, AFTER the initial contact, texting for addresses and directions makes a lot of sense.

I prefer texting for initial contact and won't contact ladies who specifically say no texting in their ad. Many times when I'm trying to set something up there are coworker ears nearby so a phone call is out of the question. I haven't had too many cases of no response.

Thanks. I'll also say, somewhere on the internets there can be found publicly-posted photos of her doing the "Duckface," which has been listed as a red flag before by some astute posters.

So, let's have a quick re-cap of what to avoid, as I've posted before, as have others, and as it pertains to this poor chap's particular misadventures:

1) Heroin users.

2) Duckface-posers.

3) Appearance-alterers.

4) Outright pic-stealers.

5) Name changers.

Have I missed anything? If you can use your god-given human ability (instinct and first hunch) to sniff these out, you will probably go a long way toward avoiding problems altogether from girls with ulterior motives or who don't give a rats ass about you or your safety.

I can spot heroin users almost instantly in those backpage ads, and no, I don't have to look for trackmarks either. They're just easy to spot. Particularly among the white chicks. In fact, I'd say probably 50% of the current girls on there right now are on heroin or meth. And to me, heroin = meth as far as the associated drama and danger is concerned.

You let no one down. This is a serious concern and the info is not only appreciated, but necessary. I've been out of the game for a while and getting back in. We need to be sharing this kind of info to keep ourselves safe. One thing I'll be sharing with all of you is something recently discussed regarding the use of social media to learn more about SPs. I have more than 35 FB pages bookmarked for local providers, along with the phone number (s) used in their postings. I have some interesting (maybe only to me?) observations about these girls, which I'll have to save for another time. Keep sharing!

To follow up to my previous post, WRAL now has the mugshots and identity of these scumbags posted to their website. Simply look through the mugshots and find the 2 men and 1 female arrested on 1/7/15 for Robbery with the arrest location as Glenwood Ave. She is not a provider I recognize, so I don't think she is a regular BP poster. Looks like they are just a bunch of hood rats from Edenton Street.

Moral of the story is always do your research on a provider you have never seen before. I never see any new BP provider unless I can find them reviewed on here or on the other reputable review site. Otherwise the risks are far too great in my opinion.

Fellow mongers. Saw the below story today on WRAL. Guy was robbed by 2 people hiding in bathroom of extended stay off Glenwood Ave while meeting a provider. This is always my worst fear. Poor guy had to go down to the front office in his boxers to report the robbery. The story doesn't indicate if anyone was arrested, but I'd monitor this article for updates and keep an eye on the WRAL mugshots section for robbery arrests on 1/7/15. Maybe we can pin down which provider this was related to.
