Here are a few more comments on meth-smoking providers, based on many personal experiences with them over the years.

As another monger emphasized, an icehead who's currently jonesing for ice usually won't be providing a good date. That situation can readily cause a bad attitude, complaining, surliness, poor performance, and attempts to impatiently rush the date. However, even a provider who's used ice soon before the date can have disturbing mood swings, become irritable or angered, be paranoid (for example, believing that police are following your vehicle or repeatedly looking around to check for someone or something not present), and "hear" sounds that you don't hear: Who's that moving around outside? What's that noise? Some may occasionally demand more money than you had agreed upon (one delusional icehead even insisted that "the devil" wanted me to pay more, LOL). Another icy situation to try to avoid is the sleepyhead, a provider who's been without adequate sleep for a long time because of ice usage and now can hardly keep her eyes open. Unfortunately, sometimes that type of provider can appear wide awake and alert when you initially speak with her, but then gradually deteriorate after you agree to a date. A monger may want to terminate the date at that point (and risk an angry response from the provider), but on the other hand there are sleepy providers who can temporarily revive and perform well if they have more ice or some other stimulant available.

Of course, the good news is that some providers can handle their ice use very well. Indeed, I discovered that two of my all-time favorite providers were dedicated ice users only after I had known them for quite a while (one for several years and another for more than one year).
