Best advice I could give is to only see reviewed providers until you hone your spidey sense. Plenty of them here and on similar sites.

As your research skills improve you could venture into the unknown with come degree of confidence, but from your question it wouldn't appear that you're there yet.

This means you'll need the discipline to Just Say No. Don't feel bad about missing out on the average BP girl; plenty of fish in that sea.

Welcome, Newbie. You have just described the feeling that every monger on this board had at one time or another. You just have to find a provider or two from research who can be trusted, and who are willing to see noobs (they are out there), then make the call and take the plunge. There's really no substitute for experience to develop your own criteria for who seems safe and who doesn't. The only way to get experience is to get over your paranoia and do it.

That said, the first step is research. Spend a few hours reading back through the posts here. Read, read, read, and when you're tired of reading, read some more. There is a wealth of information in these pages, not only discussing particular girls, but also identifying behavior, traits and circumstances that other mongers see as red flags or as signs that a either good or bad experience is likely to follow. Read everything you can find here and on other sites, and any read any reviews you can find on any provider you're interested in contacting.

After you have done all that, decide if you actually have the balls to participate in this hobby. It is not for everyone. Mistakes will be made, and we have all made our share. But with any luck and with a shitload of research as preparation, hopefully your mistakes will be small ones and not the career ending or life changing type. Learn from each experience you have, good or bad. You will start to pick up on the signs, and will be able to sense a lot from even a brief phone call with a lady you're thinking of seeing. In the end, it's a matter of trusting your own instincts and going with it. But your instincts will be better the more information you can soak in first. First thing is to stay the HEEL away from BP until you get your feet wet, go see only well established provider's that do not advertise on BP, after you become well acquainted with said lady then you can ask her some question's you have, I've found that most of them are more than willing to help out a nuuubeee.
