Posts: 1749I tried to check them out this morning. The place was locked up tight. A sign on the main door said they were closed for sidewalk repairs.

Posts: 431If you aren't doing anything illegal then you don't need to worry about cameras and law. If you are in a business that condones or looks the other way while illegal activities occur on their premises then remember that the very last thing a business wants is video evidence of illegal activities. Oher words, you don't have to worry about a spa or club secretly filming you engaging in illegal activites. Not that you or someone at a spa would be doing anything illegal of course, this is just a hypothetical discussion.

Fopr sure that could happen, but that fear on your part shoudln't be isolated to a spa or club, you could be hanging out at a friend's house getting high and they could be secretly recording you. anyone could be recording you at any time.
As for someone wanting to stay in the country and secretly filming? I don't think you understand how that works. What if a masseuse filmed some illegal activity she was engaging inn and brought that film to LE or immigration? What would that prove? It wouldn't prove fear or intimidation it would just prove that the masseuse broke the law and ibecause she broke the law sh would have her visa revoked and would be fast tracked for immediate deportation. But that's not even how asylum works. Fear isn't a 'get out of jail free' card for people in the US lwho break laws, it's a reason taken into consideration when deciding whether to allow someone to stay in the Us or be sent back to their own country. But the fear is when a person is afraid of going BACK to their own country, they are afraid of what will happen to them If they go back, not fear of their boss in the US. Sometimes people get asylum from being sent back to thir own country if they can convince immigration that they will persecuted/hurt/killed if they are deported but they don't get to stay in the US just because their US boss is making them do illegal things. But even if just proving you were afraid of your boss was all it took to get (which it;s not) the video wouldn;t show fear it would just shows her willing participation in a crime. If the critera for getting US asylum was being afraid of your boss (again, it isn; t) then she would probably want to show a video of a mamasan yelling at her, telling her that she HAS to provide extras or she will be fired (if that occurs), but no way she wants to show a video of her breaking the law.

Switched gears last second, just cannot pull the FS trigger. Hit NMS, drew candy, 6 in NMS looks, all was standard not bad not memorable. Saw one spinny, rest were all so so. Roaming was not pushed away but not promoted eithe. Clothed rub and tug ain't doing it for me but I do not want to dip in a germ pot to get all nude roaming.

Posts: 14Amber is now in Pawtucket.
I wrote a recent review regarding an all-American spa in Warwick. I enjoyed Amber's full service and GFE. She is now at a new spa on Montgomery St in "the bucket". Saw her last night and haven't recovered yet! Worth the trip down 95 for me. She is hot and has a good head on her shoulders.

Just wondering are we sure that the cameras are only placed at the doors, hallways? There are so many different style cameras, smoke detectors, exit signs, clock that cameras can be hidden in. If a masseuse wants to stay in this country all she has to do if she wanted too is say that she is in fear and seek asylum here in fear of her life and testify in court.

Posts: 431Putting aside 7's recent skewing of the rankings I don't think DT is anywhere near a consensus for 'best'.

Posts: 431I don't think AMP related trafficking in RI is common at all (maybe cause of the loose laws that made prostitution legal until a couple of years ago), but your advice is a good rule of thumb. I feel comfortable supporting a business where the employees talk about their interests, what they do in their off time, where they live, where / when they are going on vacation etc. Its a big reason I prefer a business where the staff can communicate in english. It's hard to really get any idea what's going on when no one speaks (or admits to speaking) english.

Posts: 431"video evidence" of what? You walking into a building that contains a legal establishment to get a massage? That doesn't prove anything except you walked into the building.

Believe it or not a masseuse has as much to lose as you do. Probably more. They aren't going to I'd you as being 1/2 of an illegal transaction they are the other half of because a conviction means they will instantly be deported and won't get back into the US. Also if they admit to doing anything illegal they get their boss and the business in trouble and will get blacklisted. What massage shop is going to hire someone who told LE they were condoning illegal activities? Answer=none.
All the video security camera 'proves' is that you were there. If you don't want anyone knowing you went there, then just wear a hoodie and sunglasses until you are inside, but don't forget to leave your car at home and either park your car somewhere like a mall and pay cash for a taxi and get dropped off a few blocks away and walk the rest of the way so there will be no record of you being in the area and no record of your plates on traffic cams. And of course don't ever call a spa because even if it's a burner phone if you call a spa to confirm an appt and have the phone on you and you are arrested, there is a record of the call on your burner phone.
If you are paranoid about being found out, you should really just stay at home.

Posts: 628While true that's also oversold by the do gooders here IOT get spas shut down and it was used in a bogus manner a few years back to get our RI laws changed. Do you remember that?

How about in MA, where all I can remember was two unsuccessful spa related attempts to prosecute? Try talking to the AMP providers here and you'll find they knew what they were getting in to, pay taxes, get their green cards when they're eligible and have not been coerced in any way.

Posts: 113I know this is getting out of hand and the administration here is going to put this in other forums.
But all I can say is do your due diligence.
A pick a place that has a business.
Just Google and see if the business is legitimate.
That is all. Or secretary of state.

Posts: 333Sex trafficking, girls being sold, coerced and forced into sexual slavery to become prostitutes, is a very real thing and if you don't believe that then you are very naive. So, yes there are plenty of victims out there. As mongers, all we can do is keep our eyes open and not patronage places that do not have willing participants working there. And even that can be tough as those in that situation, some not even speaking english at all, are usually threatened to provide the best possible cheerful and willing service or else.
