When I see a provider and she tell me her donations, I either accept it and make the dream appointment or not based on my funds availability. I think it is Disrespectful to ask a woman to accept a lesser donation personally. These woman have to put up with so much from us mongers. Since several posts have been brought up about this subject in this thread, I wanted to give my input. I have gotten many superb providers to give me a gift break. Their service has been spectacular and they have been more than willing, and happy, to see me again for the same gift. Giving and showing respect goes a long way in this hobby, even if you don't have a lot of gifts.
