I'm making my first trip out to LA in probably about 5-6 years. I fondly remember the VIPs and extras with a diverse group of dancers at Hawaii Theater. As a result, I never went anywhere else. Having read through the past 3-4 months of posts, I gather that Synn comes the closest to what HT used to be like? I know I could drive all the way out to Tropical Lei for the HT experience, but, I'd like to stay a little closer to downtown LA.

Would you mind updating me, either via PM or publicly if it's not a big deal out there, about the pricing structure and how I can get my best bang for the buck (literally)?

I have not had the pleasure of having full fun at any of the clubs, the reason I visit mainly is to get my engine going and end up going over to one of the MP afterwards (see my post for Jenny in the SG thread) I usually find a girl that turns me on and take her back when they have the 3 x2 specials and then move on to an MP afterwards.

BTW, after reading my post again now I realized I said "spinners" instead I should of said "lookers" since they were pretty hot.

DVCOI is a tricky club because it does offer excellent bargain opportunities but usually leaves a great deal to be desired including mileage and adequate privacy in the VIP, though I don't personally care about the privacy issue.

Sunday night is the WORST time to go for the reason you experienced. It gets packed with cheapasses and lookie-loos who go at that time just to save a few bucks on the entry. So the place is crowded and uncomfortable and even though its not an action money crowd, there's enough dudes in there to occupy all or most of the dancers, certainly the ones you want to be with.

DVCOI is also the lowest mileage club in COI. That doesn't mean that there aren't some girls working most shifts who will deliver more than just a lap dance, but it is much less reliable for extras than the other COI / Puente clubs. Unless you "bone up" on the dancer reviews on other sites, you will most likely be hooking up with dancers who provide a moderate to low mileage encounter. Also, the DV dancers are the least likely of dancers in high mileage clubs to actually sit down with someone they don't know to build some chemistry and give you a chance to get a read on what they will deliver in private. They almost always just walk by and ask you for a dance and move on immediately if you turn them down. In the other clubs the girls sit down and socialize and quite a bit of mutual molestation can be had in the course of the conversation. You will be harassed to buy them expensive drinks but all you have to do is say no. Sometimes the action at the table is so hot you just may want to buy a ladies' drink just to keep it going. So if you're going to go to DVCOI, I recommend any other time but a weekend night (Fri / Sat just crazy crowded too). Free entry coupons are all over the place including LA Weekly and probably including DVs central website. Except Sunday and some other "happy hours" they've now installed, you will still have to pay a $10 "entertainment fee" which also covers any soft drinks you may want. If you can't afford $10 to walk in a club you can't afford the best of what goes on inside.

VIP in DVCOI is $150 for 30 minutes except for Thursday its $100. Best deal going if you have the right girl and don't mind inadequate VIP facilities. However, Cheapass Sunday sometimes inspires the club to offer $100 specials for a couple of hours in the earlier evening hours. All dances are about 30% longer on Sunday so even paying $150, you'll get 40 minutes in the VIP instead of the usual half hour.

Personally, I recommend Club Synn about a mile away on Valley. Dancer quality can be excellent and is often better than DVCOI which runs hot and cold as really all the clubs do. See my post a few reports down for info on free entry to Synn which really means you will pay $5 at the door for a drink charge. VIPs in Synn are completely private if not a room at the Hyatt. They cost $100/15 minutes or $150/25 minutes which are great bargains considering the talent and mileage available and compared to prices that SCs were charging before the recent price cutting that most clubs are doing to actually compete. More Synn dancers have extras menus than DVCOI dancers and you won't need more than 15 minutes in the VIP in most cases. VIP is discounted to $75 on Thursdays. Synn girls get comfy with you at your booth or table and foreplay happens.

There are 4-5 other choices in COI but Synn is my pick for best balance of hot girls, high mileage and bargain pricing. Good stage dancing too as DV also offers. You really should check out the strip club sites to get a comprehensive overview, dancer rollcalls and reviews.

Had read here that DV had free admission on Sundays so after stopping by the gym near Costco in COI went to check this place out.

Sure enough as reported here DV has free cover on Sundays from noon to 9:00 pm, was told this by the big dude that covers the entrance sometimes.

Sat down on one of the chairs as you enter the main room and waited to check out the beauties as they walked by. I counted seven different girls (six of 'them were spinners) and all were 9+ on my book.

The DJ kept doing 3 x2 and there hardly any girls around to talk to.

Also, I think I heard him say something about a special for a Benji, not sure if this was for the VIP or what but if any of you guys know about this please post here since it would be great to take one of the spinners there for a spin, pun intended, in the VIP.

While we're on the subject of good deals at the local clubs, I usually don't pay a cover charge at Paradise. I always go between 6 and 8 pm which is their 'Dead Zone'. The club is populated with stragglers from day shift and double shifters. Still what I consider a decent selection but others might disagree. They just let me in through the back door.

These clubs actually don't put free passes in the paper, but they do accept the newspaper's passes for DejaVu, Rhino, et al. Also if you go to the Synn and Paradise websites you can get on their text distribution list and receive promo texts each month good for free admission. You actually pay $5 at the door and that is supposedly for your glass of water, soda or juice. So the newspapers and the texts are $15 bills. I'm not rich enough to ignore that opportunity.

Btw, Synn also gives you a free pass each time you get a 342 nude dance and for each VIP. If the counter doesn't hand it to you on your way out of the lap area, ask him. Last week the counter actually chased me down to give me a pass as I walked towards the exit following a VIP. Paradise typically does not do this unless they specifically announce it. How private is the 341 area at Paradise? For you to get a CBJ, it must pretty private right?

It is private only from the main part of the showroom. It is not private as to others in the lap dance area. 3 sided booths open in the front so your best shot at privacy is to get the end booths so others won't be walking by you. You can't really do the Paradise thing if you're timid but trust me, nobody back there is making an effort to watch you and nobody cares. The full price VIPs are private but the cheaper "fantasy rooms" have transparent draping and are so small that the dancers' legs may often be hanging out into the public area if she's on her knees servicing you.

BTW, you did well to find a good and attractive dancer to play with at 6 PM. Expect almost all strip clubs to be deserted between 5 PM until as late as 9 PM. That's counter-intuitive I know since you'd assume that after work time for 9 to 5 ers would be busy, but in fact it is between day and night shifts and there are hardly any dancers working. Exception is a few clubs which have an in between shift. In COI the best bet at that hour is DVCOI.
