I've actually brought my portable mini safe inside with me. But, they know me and I doubt my safe would disappear during the table shower. You are ultimately responsible for your gun at all times, so it being out of sight for even those 10 minutes can be a bad idea. I've since started leaving it locked in the safe in my van.
