I no longer spend so much time at Follies and I when I do make sure I eat a lot of their food and drink as little as possibile to make sure they don't make money off of me.

LOL! There was this one girl, who told me I owed her money for a dance, from the last time I was there, and threatened to tell the management. I just laughed and walked away. First, I don't do black chicks. Second, If I don't know you, you can't dance for me. If you can't come over and talk and shoot the shit, keep walking. That's how I dew things!

I can relate to that. I had a problem at Follies with a female customer. I walked a around a corner of the bar and ran up in front of a pregnanat female who was obviously in a bad mood to begin with. She immediately demanded to pass and I said thaere was no problem just pass as their was plenty of room. I squeezed by with out touching her at all. The next thing I know is that the bouncer is telling me that I have to go because I pushed her. She apparently told him that I pushed her which was a total lie there was no body contact in any way. I told him my side of the story and he seemed to believe me but just gave me the "come back tomorrow, but call it a night" rush and opened the door for me. I was very upset and enraged that anyone would think that I would push a pregnant woman. "I'll tell the manager (bouncer, etc)." is just another bluff that's part of the hustle.

Don't confuse a club manager with a pimp. He isn't going to kick your ass. He's trying to run a business that at least in part relies on customer word of mouth and good will. Besides the $10 or $20 in disputed dances doesn't come out of his pocket or the club's drawer. The girl eats it.

The club manager works with the girls everyday. He knows that they have the common sense and veracity of an Alabama football fan.

The exceptions to this would be: 1) you are shit faced wasted. Your credibility is low or 2) you were (physically or verbally) abusive to the girl.

Decided to hit the black clubs tonight, started at club babes, it was a akward scene, saw some GAY GUYS dacing on each other also didn't see any big booty types that I like so didn't waste much time I spent 8 dollars for approx 10 mins in the club because it wasnt a good scene, Headed over to pleasers it was dead NY nowhere in sight so I got a dance from big booty cocoa and that ass was as soft as cotton, managed to get digits and will contact later, after she left it was pretty dead so I decided to leave as well, thought about pin ups but decided to call it a night.

Wait. Gay guys dancing on each other at Babes? Makes no sense. I've never seen that, not anything close. That's a new one on me. I haven't been there is two weeks, but I've been going for about five years. I hope they don't have a side party of any type going on in there. Would surly take away from the enjoyment.

After two sour notes at the end of Follies visits I have learned not to get dances from someone that approaches me. From now on I will take my time evaluating the talent and pick the ones that will give me the best bang for my buck.

The first time the trip had gone well but an asian girl with great looking bolt ons came over and started rubbing herself all over me. This is a great way to make me want dances. After a couple of songs doing this she started taking her clothes off. I told her then let's do some dances starting with next song. The dances were great, but at the end she tried to charge me for the dances before I asked for them. She threatened to get management. I went and got them myself. They pretty much sided with me but I left anyway.

Second time a stunning looking cheerleader type blond hit me up for dances but I was eating and told her to check back later. After another great night she caught up with me and we went to the couches for some dances. First one was decent with some hand wandering. Second dance she said we had to cool it since management was looking at us. Second dance was no fun so I stopped her there. She said that since management saw my wandering hands I had to tip her well or leave. I was done anyway and was not longer in the mood after that and left.

Each time the dances came frrom girls I had not seen dance that day. Who knows what you are going to get? Now I simply say "no thanks" and watch and wait for the girls that look like they will be the most fun. Each trip was still good, but who wants to leave on a sour note?

I was there on Tuesday and did not stay. The place was packed and no seats along with I did not recognize any dancers. Not that I mind new friends but the hustle was in the air. Went back to DH where you can stretch your legs.

I just like to go there to watch pretty gorgeous girls dancing and to hang out with them. I sure don't like the customers that go to clubs nowadays and the quality of the dancers, a lot of them really no better than streetwalkers in the metro. Unfortunately, this type of high class club is a dying species. A nice looking gal used to make thousands in a day. Not any more. You just can't sell yourself so many times a day and the high rollers do go there either. The customers are more interested of getting inside you than how you look like.

First I agree the talent is way low these days. My assertion is that the quality of girl really ebbs and flows largely with the overall economy. At the end of the day, very few hot girls want to be dancing. Sure there are some ole pros who know who they are but, not the young hot ones. The hot 22 year old doesn't want to do it forever. She is only doing it because it's the only way she can make a decent living. Especially in a down economy. As the economy improves and jobs become more available they move out of the field. The expectation of needing to provide extras further polarizes this effect. Whereas before the expectation was to dance, now its BBJCIM. Especially at some clubs like Follies. I personally have stopped going to Clubs. I always feel dirty when I leave and the talent is usually poor. Sure I still go on occasion but I have moved on along w the hotties...

Strip clubs have always been rather seedy establishments. It was just as easy to get a girl at the gold rush in 1990 as it is at any club today. They had a girl there that would have sex in the back with customers and then go walk the streets for a while. This was before the age of the VIP rooms. I've had relationships with dancers for 20+ years. The stories are still pretty much the same. Now, what has changed for all of us is that we are older. I think dancers approach guys for sex if they are older thinking that there is more money.

As for the clubs, I agree. It is much more high pressure / high sales today than it was before. More competition drives down prices. The higher class people go to where they can make more money.

Great report. Pleasures charging 2 bucks for daytime entry? Crazy. Foxy Lady was pretty much a 'cathouse' the last three times I was there. Was more of that than a strip club. Babes is better now, after experimenting with a hands off rule. Blaze used to me my old faithful, but it's not as openly 'hands on' as it used to be.

Out making the rounds on the black strip club circuit. Went out for day and night shifts Thurs-Saturday. And I really had a good time, but there are some interesting notes this go round. So on to the rambling (I think most know my spots by now).

Thursday:

Started out with dayshift Pleasers. Slow start, really only 1 girl I wanted to get a dance from and she was tied up for the longest, so I eventually left without a dance. The dark skin droopy huge soft booty chick was there, but decided not to partake. The got a new outdoor pink sign for the club. It definitely stands out (LOL)! Note: They are charging $2 for dayshift entry. Only club doing it that I'm aware of.

Next went to Foxy Lady. Again no one caught my eye, and pickings were slim. Note: They now have a the club is for sale on the billboard with a phone number to call if interested. So maybe the club is finally on its last legs? More on this later.

Went past Queen City and they were closed, so kept going to Babes and that where things picked up. Saw 1 of the chicks from Foxy here (actually saw 1 on Pleasers dayshift, too, so they are starting to venture away Foxy bit by bit). Note: They finally got rid of the boxing ring, put some type of faux wall where the giant tv is and put in a "snacks" booth off to the corner. I have yet to see anyone actually buy a snack from there. For kicks I asked for the price of a small bag of lays chips and she told me $2? Um. I'm ok (LOL)! Got some good dances by 3 girls, with 1 really trying to sway me to VIP (which is still $20 for entry). Note: For Queen City, I went back by on Friday dayshift and nightshift and they were still closed, so not sure what the deal is there. I remember being told they were going to renovate?

After taking a dinner break, I went back to Pleasers to see who was working nights (New York and Hurricane still part of the lineup). Didn't have time to wait on anyone, so I head off to Rocafellas (still $10 for entry, still doing the parking hustle). Lots of hungry girls inside and since I was there around 2 am, I pretty much had my pick. Got some dances from my regular chick.

Wash, rinse, repeat for Friday & Saturday. I will say that Babes was the best overall time this trip which is rare for me. But I was a little bummed out by a big booty chocolate chick named Hershey, who told me she "only" dances in VIP. If you had seen this azz, you'd understand why it bummed me out. Of course, I don't want to do VIP for just the same dance I can get on the main floor (duh). Surprised she wasn't dancing at Blue Flame with that mentality. But she actually gave a good grind.

When I got back form Roca, I went searching through BP ads and saw one for big booty porn star Ms Cleo. Couldn't believe my eyes! Took the number down for later.

Before I forget, went back to Foxy late night Thursday around 0130 and they security told me the club was closed because the girls left (LOL)! Wow! Guess there weren't any customers. So I cam back again Friday night and it was ok; dude even tried to give me break on the normal VIP price to make some money. I haven't seen the big titty chick this or my last few trips and the girl I like wasn't there, either. Hate to see the place go, but they have been losing business ever since they started acting funny with VIP pricing and trying to keep the customer / girl action PG on the main floor. Let a hood club be a hood club!

So, like I said Friday repeat and Saturday it was raining and started coming down with a cold. I will say Friday was lighter than normal for patrons; I realize the SEC game was in town, but I don't think that would impact the clubs that much? I decide to call Ms Cleo around 11 pm and left a message when she didn't pick up. She was only to stay through the weekend and I knew I wouldn't be available on Sunday. So decided to go back to Pleasers to close out the roundup. I was actually not going to do anything, but NY stopped by and grabbed me! Now these 2 chicks (NY and Hurricane) STAY busy. Back when I first met NY, maybe 3 or so years ago, it was pretty easy to get her. But literally, dudes stay tapping them on the should to get on their list all night long. I've only danced with Hurricane once and it was the truth, but she never comes to me, however NY will come to me. I call myself trying to ween myself off her, but when she physically grabbed me and I still had Ms Cleo on the mind, I broke down. Suffice it to say, she made short work of me and I probably made out better on pricing than if I managed to hook up with Cleo. I think NY added to her real estate, because I used to be able to hold out. This time it was like a pliable, yet firm, vise grip-I never stood a chance! But early Sunday morning Cleo text me to say she was available and I cursed my luck. Even if I had the time (which I didn't), my cold kicked in more and I didn't have the pent up energy needed for a session (plus not sure what the cost would be). But if there is another opportunity, I will hit her up as soon as I see the ad as I want that left cheek / right cheek dance with little man right in the middle (LOL)!

Last note: Noticed a ATM receipt in Pleasers, left behind. Being nosy, I grabbed it and saw it was for 60 bucks with a $10 fee for using the ATM. OUCH!!! Why do folks use the stripclub ATMs??? That's a lost of 2 dances (LOL)!!

In the old days, they had pool tables, not VIP. I have been going to strip clubs here for 25 years. I used to go to Onyx when it was the old Pink Pony or Master. I am appalled at what you tell me how they charge. I heard they have a lot of hiphop singers and celebrities now. It is a nearly totally black club now. Rumors is that they are making 5 times more than what they made when it was a white club. It is also true that a lot of clubs always had VIP rooms, not all.

The Gentleman's club is dead, not because there are no gentleman out there, they have moved-on from the clubs to arrangements. You know, 1 to 3 that they can call for private sessions. The club is their basement or her studio. What's left is hustlers and the rest of us paying cover and getting nickeled and dime, LOL. I will tell you, if I had the dough and time, I too would set up arrangements, rotate the talent about every 3 months or so and visit with a select few buddies. Monday night football with a very good half time show. That's the life.

Now if your point is that the attitude (more VIP hustle, less discretion about VIP activities) is different in the club that may be. Or that the overall quality of girls is down vs. 5 years ago. I'll agree the overall quality has declined. There are fewer true 8's and 9's than years ago.

That said if you are suggesting a guy can't go out to a club, have few drinks, flirt / chat up a few hotties, maybe get some dances but not VIP, and have a good time; I'll take issue.

I do not disagree with you. In fact, I was just discussing this issue with a buddy of mine (I think I somewhat recently posted about MANY visits to the Cheetah) and mentioned that of all the clubs I've been to (including all of them in LV, almost all in Atlanta, the good ones in Tampa and Detroit), I've only had "big time action" 4 times. I've never been one for going in the VIPs, I always thought they were rip offs and tease jobs...The Cheetah was my favorite, the service was good, the beer cold, the women beautiful and it wasn't too smokey.
