I fully understand your frustration and disappointment.

However, I wouldn't get too butthurt about it. Knowing in advance that things weren't going to work out, and being offered a pretty hot alternative, isn't too bad.

Provider's read these posts, and what you're telling them is: if they cancel and lie about the reason, the guy will probably just reschedule. If they cancel and are honest about it, even if it is well in advance of the appointment, the guy will complain. So it pays to lie and manipulate, and it is costly to be honest.

Is that really the message you want to put out there? Lie or be punished?

I know YOU think the message is: Don't blow off appointments, and don't be irresponsible. But things happen. Provider's aren't German clock-makers. The best girls, like Sasha, are human and providing a genuine service. This means that human things come up. Yeah, she wasn't super-responsible and you were let down. But with this hobby, it pays to be a little flexible and do your best to see both sides.

At any rate, I'd rather folks be straight and honest with me. Deceit is not good for business in the long run, Buddah knows this and he told you as soon as he could.

This sounds very wise to me. Straight communication is a benefit for all of us on both sides of the hobby.

Sure there is a difference between getting a cold / flu / food poisoning / ebola and getting hung over. Obviously, you have no control over catching a bug and you CAN control how much you drink at a Halloween party. But it's pretty easy to overindulge without realizing how you'll feel the next day. I bet most of us have done that once or twice. . . Once the morning comes around, you can't roll back the clock. Whether you're feeling under the weather due to something you can control or not, you have to deal with it appropriately either way. I would much rather have providers err on the side of caution and 'call in sick' instead of giving poor service. We all know what kind of work providers do, and it's not the kind of thing where you should just deal with being sick and carry on. It'll mean a less than ideal experience, and there's a much higher chance to spread minor illnesses when the service is so intimate. A cold isn't the end of the world, but still do you want to catch one from a provider who felt pressured to see you when she was feeling bad?

Also, the human element is critical to the service these ladies are providing. I've read negative reviews where the terms 'mechanical' or 'clock-watcher' were used. Pretty much the opposite of human, right? Other professions that bill by the hour often DO watch the clock. Ever been to see a lawyer? Not to excuse or defend irresponsibility or crazy drama, but we need to have balance between 'professional' and 'human'.

Not because I believe her to be a poor provider, but rather that I was ready for Sasha. He apologized profusely and stated he had texted her over 50 times to get her in today. He seems like a good guy and I place no fault with him. He was acting professionally in a very unprofessional situation that was not his doing. I understand these ladies work hard and need to unwind, but missing an appt because you were too hung over to make it is not ok with me. At its base, this is a business. A service industry. In our professional lives we cannot miss obligations for anything let alone a hang over. Would I like to see her in the future? Maybe. Will I? I doubt it. From her reviews she seems to be top notch, but today she was anything but. I am not writing this to dissuade anyone from seeing her. I understand your disappointment. But trust me, as someone who has seen Sasha before (back when she was independent), she's worth the wait and is worth cutting her some slack. People have been known to get drunk around Halloween time. It's always possible this is a sign of a bigger problem, but Sasha has had nothing but good reports for a solid year and I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt here. I know people make mistakes from time to time and that's fine. I gave nothing but praise to buddah for his handling of the situation and now I'm heaping praise on Sasha for rectifying it. I think we all have called in sick because of a hangover at some point in our lives when we were in our 20's. Being in my 50's I can tell you, wisdom comes with age. Buddah gave you ample notice, apologized and offered up Cupcake as a replacement! I think you are asking way to much "professionalism" of this hobby. You've seen three providers and with the fourth there was a "glitch" with the appointment. Sounds like you have been pretty lucky so far.

Not a white knight at all, but I saw her again recently and she was headed out to cut loose afterward, pretty sure its not a regular thing for this to happen. There are some very professional providers in Cincy (maybe one I know of in Dayton) anyway Sasha is always A-1 when you are with her. I would much rather a gal miss an appt drunk than because she was with her dope boy! I love the rare provider like Sasha who isn't doping. I know I have ended up way too hungover the next morning when I had serious stuff to do and had only planned to be out an hour and have one drink. Spend some time with Carmen yesterday in NKY and boy did I have a good time...,as soon as you walk in, just had been previously stated, the room is lit with candles and smells very nice.
