If you you tested positive for NGU and all you received was head then the ngu is NOT from clamidia. Clamida rarely infects the mouth and throat. Ngu can be from a host of non-std bateria commonly found in someones mouth. Since more than likely your ngu is from common mouth bacteria there is no reason to even tell her. Take the meds and be done with it. Also check out medhelp. Org on the docotors forum in the Std section. Lots of good info from two world experts on stds. Search for ngu and read the posts from others.

On another note didn't they test you for ngu, gonn, and clamidia? If you only tested positive for ngu then you do not have the other two.

First of all thanks to my fellow mongers for your advice and support. I was treated at the clinic yesterday with four tabs of azithromycin and it seems as though it has knocked the dripping out already, the stinging is still there when I piss though it has decreased also. It goes without saying, that I am not going to be dipping my buddy anywhere for the foreseeable future until I get the all clear from the doc. Some have asked through PM who gave it to me, and I will only say this: I have my suspicions on how I got it but no evidence, so really it doesn't matter who I got it from, what matters more is who I passed it to. So if any of you happen to know any of the SW that I have reported on since August 23 please advise them that one of their dates was recently dripping and that they should be checked out. I'm sorry for soiling so many in such a short time period, but as one of the girls told me "that's one of the risks we take in doing what we do"

After alot of thought on how to handle this situation, I think this may be my best bet. My wife had dental cleaning last week and then gave me head. I was thinking about saying I got some kind of bacterial infection from her BJ and that the doc advised her to take the antibiotics since we had sexual contact. She just might buy this bullshit excuse, II'm not really sure how else to pull this off. We are slowly heading toward divorce court as it is, but this is NOT the way I would like to get there.

Anyone have a source of the Azithromycin that I can order from? I need to get my hands on the stuff fast and would like to get a supply to offer to the SW I've been with since they like drugs anyways and I have my doubts as to whether or not they will go get checked out.

Always check the drug interactions and foods to avoid with antibiotics. Doxycycline is countered by calcium, so eating yogurt or other dairy while on doxycycline is counter-productive. Interactions vary form antibiotic to antibiotic; some are fine with dairy, some are fine with alcohol, some are not.

You can look up other meds on there as well. Treating these things yourself can allow these bacteria to become resistant to antibiotics. If that happens, these "Superbugs" could put you 6 feet under. Better to wear a hoodie, right? FYI, Azithromycin by itself did not fix my last STD infection. Also, if you are taking antibiotics, always eat plenty of yogurt or Kefir, a yogurt type drink, to replenish the healthy bacteria destroyed by the drugs. If you don't, it could lead to a serious or even fatal fungal infection. The fungi take over when the bacteria are not present to keep it in check.

I generally try to avoid using my day-job credentials here, but definitely need to chime in when it comes to the over (and inappropriate) use of antibiotics by lay people. Current guidelines for Gonorrhea-like symptoms involve treating for both Gonnocccal infections as well as Chlaymidia as they frequently present at the same time. This generally includes an injection of a cephalosporin to treat Gonorrhea as well as azithromycin or doxycycline. It is very important to have a culture for both treatment and epidemiology.

Treating yourself is terrible for two reasons.

1. It may not treat the causative organism.

2. The organism may be resistant to the dose, length, or drug itself.

Lastly, drug resistance changes over location and time. Even if a certain drug has worked for you in the past for a similar infection, using the wrong medication may not only contribute to other drug resistance, but also affect those that you (may) give the gift to.
