The first thing you need to do is go to start / settings / control panel / add or delete programs. If you see anything that is not supposed to be in your computer remove it. It is very easy to accidentally download tracking / spyware / malware programs that track your every move and can co-opt your computer. PM me if you see some thing in there and are not sure what it is

Someone asked about pics. I keep pics on my personal external hard drive. I have software that hides the folder unless I put in a password. I installed my browser in the folder, so I could save all my bookmarks, etc. So if the folder isn't visible the browser cannot be opened. I don't see the value in keeping anything online.
