I'm always trying to find ways to say this without causing a flame war, and I think you just hit the nail on the head. I don't know what the rest of you have heard, but let me let you guys in on what I've been told. The perception of this board, at least among the (admittedly small number of) providers that I speak to regularly, is pretty universally negative. I've heard more than once that the membership here is "juvenile" and "dramatic" (also "cheap", but there's not much we can do about that one haha). I mean, if that's how we come across to the people whose hand we constantly dump money into, I can't imagine it looks any more inviting to a rookie hobbyist. I've been here a long time. I don't post as much as many others, as I hobby far less frequently than many, but I can tell you for sure that the atmosphere here has changed for the worse since NKYKinkyGuy recruited me into the fold many moons ago.
