I'm relatively new on here but have enjoyed AMPs for years. Decided I would contribute to the collective wisdom.

Made an appointment today at an AMP on Main St (Rt 38). The BP ad is here: http://boston.backpage.com/BodyRubs/...78-23/21095717

Was ushered straight to a room by a mid-40s librarian type (glasses). Said her name was Sammi. Very friendly but nothing special looks-wise. Strangely, she did not ask for payment up front. While getting ready I left the $60 hour fee on the table in the room, just so she was aware. Once settled she came in and draped me neck to toe with a towel. I also noticed that there was only a curtain separating us from the next room. And another customer. That's a bit too intimate for my taste, but what can you do? At one point Sammi spoke briefly to the masseuse in the next room, but only once. She was totally focused on giving a good massage, and that she did.

Lots of over-the-towel work (20 mins anyway) , followed by unscented oil work on my back, shoulders, legs, pretty much everywhere BUT. I tried to show I was interested a few times, but she did not acknowledge or change her areas of focus. Once you know it's a legit massage I've found it best to "go with the flow" and at least enjoy the therapeutic benefits. And so I did. .6 +.2 and I was on my way.

Atmosphere = 4 (definite deductions for the curtain). Looks = 5. Attitude = 7. Massage = 9. Ending = N / A. Will probably not repeat.

I've never seen a thin black black girl their (you sure she was not Latino of some sort? Or maybe you were their so many years ago they had some fail LMT's I'm unaware of currently?) either way. Most people who see all this doom and gloom and all this fail with 2 posts would wisely disregard most of your reviews anyways.

I'm not sure what the new std is your referring to but the main concern with BBBJ would be a thing called HPV (if your receiving from a girl who's approx 28 year old or less, the risk is greatly diminished because the HPV vaccine would have been taken by them before they turned 18 year old, if the girl is 25 YO or less the risk is nearly non exsistant at this point). Also, HPV is not as great a concern for men as it would be for the woman giving the BBBJ (but the strains that would concern men are the ones the vaccine covers anyways). In terms of HIV. If you see a bloody mouth then I suggest you not get a BBBJ (HIV is not in saliva and I don't think one case study can be found were this contraction has ever occurred). Herpes would be the lessor concern std because most people have it anyways and don't know it but having said that. If you see sores on the girls mouth then I suggest you do not get a BBBJ (also warm soap and water wash cleans this std right off you before it can take hold). Which is why a shower is wise after a BBBJ (I also pee just clean the pipes out too LOL). Anyways. With all due respect, the herpes you spoke of is herpes simplex, that's the one most of us have and it's nothing more than an occasional cold sore on your lip. However, the other herpes is much more serious, genital herpes. There is no cure for either one, the virus attaches itself to the base of the spine.

I think some of the owners must be reading our reports, because a nearby competitor has been specifically mentioning "ABSOLUTELY NO interruptions" in their most recent ads. This is the place right down the road at 1147. I've visited several times and always left happy, but I have not seen Kelly, who is currently working there. They seem to rotate providers on a regular basis.

Hong is a very nice lady, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. I personally don't object to stopping briefly for a quick phone call, unless it comes at exactly the wrong moment. However, I do think it's helpful when reviews mention the number of interruptions, so everyone can factor this information into their decision about who to visit.

I read all the comments and am impressed with the non-confrontational tone everybody has. There were many good ideas and suggestions, but when I first met Hong, I asked her about many of them myself. She sat me down and patiently explained the real world to me. Even then, I was a little skeptical. But as I saw her more often, and thought about my prior experiences, I realized that AMPs are a crazy business. Like half spa and half emergency room! Customers call for many reasons. Some are stuck in traffic. Some are down the street and want a massage right away. Most are short notice. Almost no clients will leave a voice mail. Most don't want a call back, YOU KNOW WHY. Taking calls isn't a question of maximizing profits, it's a question of a business surviving.

I recall years ago seeing several solo providers. They all picked up the phone at times, but I figured that is what they have to do to run their business. And to be fair, most of my sessions with Hong are without interruptions. I went to places where multiple girls worked, less interruptions, but I never got the same personal connection.

Hong has professional spa experience. She knows how that works. Are you guys ready to make your appointment at least 24 hrs in advance, with a credit card? And if you do not show up, you still get billed. You must leave your phone# and address. They don't have no shows. She would love that. No stress for her. But it isn't going to happen, not in this business.

She has taken great pains to make her ad clear. Still," Where are you located, your rates, your hours, directions?", every stupid question that could be answered by looking at the ad. Her ad says "APPOINTMENT ONLY" There are 2 signs on the door that say the same thing. Still, they ring the bell for walk-ins!

I know every one of us is looking for something different here. I don't need to feel like a king being pampered. For me the soft touch of a really nice friendly woman is more important.

If you go to back page and see the ad for New Asian Massage and it talks about 30. 00 foot massage on top of an already 70. 00 1hr general massage don't waste your gas money. The 2 women used in the advertising pics don't work there. It's a no nonsense legit Chinese family branching off from their Quincy location. The woman massaging me gave me a nutrition lecture and the massage was a 9 because she knows her stuff. I didn't even dare to ask her about a HE. Her husband was down the hall installing a fish aquarium. Fire Station is abot 100 ft down the street and many locals in and out of Resturants on Mansfield's Main St. There was no talk about being undraped at the beginning so I knew I was doomed.

Has anyone ventured to cel-la-stina lately? I wasted a few Viagras there. 50 minutes of silence, lying on my belly and 10 minutes facing up! When I inquired about anything extra with 60. 00 I purposely left on the little table. I was given a cup of water aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I thought. Another waste of time. Plus is it just me or does it feel like you are in a frozen section of a super market there. I thought hot air rises? The last girl I saw there was the thin black girl. The massage was actually very good and I felt very good after leaving. However, that is not was I was looking for and I will not be visiting again. 40. 00 for the Half hour and a 10. 00 tip.

Luckily, a little ways down the street was another fine AMP establishment that I have been to many times (# 572) I arrived as a walkin-usually make appt. But due to the prior strike out, I stopped by unannounced. Drew Linda-very young, nice tight spinner body. Massage was light touch as requested and ending was superb-day saved-though I was 50. 00 light in the wallet but did have a good massage.

Damage at second place-45. 00 for half hour and 40. 00 for tip.

Anyone out there have any success at Goldfish or is it fully legit?

I went there about 2 months ago and saw Heidi with no luck either. She implied maybe in the future if I kept coming but I'm not playing that game. The massage was great though. If she was accomodating I was contemplating being a regular. That place was apparently busted earlier in the year so they are on tight watch. They apparently used to have a table shower but do not use it anymore. On my way out after getting dressed I thought I noticed a hidden camera with a light in the room in a vent on the ceiling but am not 100% sure.

I've left happy every time. One past provider provided finished bra only. Very good masseuse, too. That was before the bust in May / June. I've been back this fall and left happy, but it hasn't been quite as good. Not a big fan of Heidi. I wouldn't say she has a bad attitude, but there's something in it I don't care for. My two cents. I wouldn't write them off. They have the best table shower around and Heidi does do a great job at it. It's also a very clean place. Only consistent beef is with the music. They've got a forty minute loop of bad muzak.

I don't know why, but maybe she was thinking she would be out of the provider queue for big HJ tipping for 2 cycles, and Mr. Big Head here won't play the negosh game, so she doesn't want me taking any more than 1 hr. My big head talks, my big head walks. Maybe some of you get good hard decent massages and good extras, maybe again, things are declining there, and prices are rising. I don't know. I've also gone to both places in the past month and have had very similar experiences.

I called School Street and asked for Yumi but was told she was on vacation and got Linda instead who is okay but IMO not as good or as fun as Yumi. The Phone interruptions were insanely annoying, especially the first one in which she told the guy calling she could see him in 40 minutes just shortly after starting my massage (which I paid an hour for). She was the only one working there at the time. If they had another girl or two working there this place would be a smoother operation. I also noticed the older chubby guy manning the front desk. I think he wants a girl to answer the phone because hearing another dudes voice is a complete buzzkill.

I went to Marrett Road on a Friday night 3 weeks ago and the toilet in the place was broken and flooded and the entire place reaked of absolute shit. I should have left apon noticing that but decided to go for a half hour anyway. 4 guys walked into the place during the session which only ended up being about 20 minutes (the lady giving my massage left to greet every one of them). Only 1 ended up waiting in the waiting room as the others were obviously repulsed by the shit smell. The walls were kind of thin and I could hear mostly everything being said in the hallway and the room next to it. Two of the Korean girls there were arguing loudly about fixing the bathroom which led to an even more miserable experience. After the 20 minutes I hear "Times up!" with no talk or insinuation of anything extra which was fine because I wanted to get the fuck out of there anyway. The massage sucked and was a complete waste of $40. Didn't give her any tip. She looked pissed. I didn't care. Definitely won't return. I actually ended up going to Royal after that which has not let me down yet.

Both places seem to be turnstyle AMPs but I'd have to give the edge to School Street.

I haven't been very active lately, but did manage to hit both the Lexington places over the past month or so (my schedule hasn't afforded me many opportunities to detour outside my normal commute as of late).

School Street. Visited a couple weeks ago, Yumi was working (I had been told previously she had left, but whatever). I've had her several times, I think she gives a pretty good massage and is always a bit of a flirt. This was no different, but what was noteworthy was the number of phone interruptions to my session. Probably a half dozen or so (over the course of the one hour session). What made it even more frustrating was that there was an older guy (owner?) there manning the front desk. Other than that, nothing new to report. $60 + $40.

Marrett. Visited more recently, after not having been there for a month or so. Called ahead, was asked if I wanted Asian or Russian;"Oh, you got a Russian girl? I'll try her". Get there 10 minutes later (as scheduled) and, after paying for the hour Ruby told me the Russian was busy but that I could wait a half hour if I really wanted her. WTF? I told Ruby she would be fine. I asked for hard, and it was pretty good. Made a little small talk and asked if business was good, she says "No, we no busy today." (ever notice they never say "Business is great!"?) Then I get interrupted a few times, and I figure business is picking up. Flip came a little early, but I didn't think anything of it because they usually make the time up here. Not this time, we're finished with a good 20 minutes left on the clock. She tells me there's another customer in the next room waiting, and that she'll make it up next time. I say the same and pull out a $20, but then throw in another $10 when it looks like she's about to cry. I really need to get a spine one of these days.

Angel is great, but too much using her feet. I find it lazy, but thats me.

It's not lazy, but it's better for the masseur. Doing medium / hard massages all day can really put a strain on their arms and wrists. With the feet, it's easier.
