Stopped by FE this afternoon but the lot was crowded and was told the wait was 1 hr. So I left. Headed to Harmony, which wasn't as seedy as other posts had led me to believe. Nothing looked new (including the masseuse) , but it was comparable to 1021 or the old DT. I saw Soo-jee, who has a few miles on her but was nice enough, and she enjoys herself. Had a good time, house and tip were per usual. Would repeat as a backup. At least at that time, was a lot less busy than FE.

Afternoon gentlemen,

So I posted here a few months ago looking for some advice on where to hit. Thank you to those of you that PMed me with responses. Had a busy summer traveling north to Maine on days off, so the extra time / cash to venture south to Prov just wasn't available. Of course, now that I have some free time and have been checking recent threads, I'm seeing regular Providence guys heading to Mass. I thought the world was supposed to end in Dec 2012 fellas, not November! LEO is killing me here. Sonofabitch, this is BRUTAL!

So my plan was to head down for the day tomorrow (Saturday) and see what I could find. So yes, another Masshole here looking for advice from all of you loyal posters. No, I'm not a senior member, and I don't have 64498 posts. But, I have made fair contributions to the MA boards in case anyone is skeptical of my fishing for info.

This may be a waste of space, time and effort but I needed to say that I had a GREAT Spa experience today and it was not at the Pawtucket Spa's. Any trusted seniors are very welcome to PM for further details. Newbies, Regular members and Lurkers you will be ignored! Sorry but wayyyyyyy too many eyes out there.

Oh and BTW. Fuck off "Capt Asshole" (Prov Police) for fucking with our beloved Spa's.

Good news. I hope that more reports like this are to follow. I miss my AMP. I've found a couple decent BP options, but I do enjoy the massage part of the whole AMP scene. At least for half the time I'm there there's a personal touch and not a rush to get me out the door.

Tried to go to NMS today after hearing that it was still open, but LE parked across the street made me too nervous to stop. Seeing as that Harmony and SP seem to be more FS establishments I'm thinking that I may have to venture farther from Prov to get my fix. If anyone has a good rec for a walk in (or easy appt) for R&T within driving distance, I'd certainly appreciate it (and will happily report back, of course).

Looking at the Phoenix there are some options outside the immediate Providence boundaries.

I am familiar with one of those a bit north of Providence, the one more often reviewed on this website. I had visited on one occasion prior to the shut down and my experience was consistent with what this Board had reviewed. Okay, not great and rushed. So, prior to the shut down I never went back.

Now that options are sparse I have visited on a few occasions and it is a fair experience. Certainly not Sophia / 1021 style, but I have not encountered any price gouging as reported at other locations.

Like everywhere and everything YMMV, but some staffers are very skilled at body rub (Bonnie) whereas others are not skilled and going through the motions. I do find that like anything else. With encouragement some with work harder if they think you appreciate it. I'm talking just simple verbal encouragement like,"Gee, that feels great can you use more pressure".

I find the manager friendly.

So, it this is helpful to anyone. Good. I'd love to hear progress on the broader state of affairs, although I've read the references that CH might be returning to form. Hopefully the darkness with lift soon.

Its really too bad as my limited impression is that the staffers across the RI (and elsewhere) industry were consistently nice individuals and, in talking to them, many had similar impressions of their patrons. But I guess social standards are what they are.

I would agre that it is a little too early. While the Prov experience may never get back to what it was and maybe I'm being optimistic but there has been some scuttlebutt heard round the region that Capt Asshole's actions are now getting the wrong people pised off. There asre some mighty deep pockets out there and some pretty important people (and groups) that have a lot invested in the 'industry' and are now looking to put an end to this discrimination and harrassment. Keep in mind that the Pvd ploice dept has been involved in many scandels lately both corruption and drug related and this series of discriminatory harrassment may very well cost the city one hell of a bundle in court costs and awards if the right people go ahead with lawsuits ect. Or nothing may happen but the ear to the ground hints otherwise. Stay tune.

Some of us do this for fun and an occasional kick, and don't take it so seriously as to do fucking recon or wade through dozens of pages of forum posts on our cellphones before trying out a place we've never been on a whim. It wasn't as if I set out to go to Harmony; I happened upon it quite by accident, and thought "hell, I got time to kill. What's the worst that could happen?" I then figured I'd share my bad experience just in case someone else found themselves in the same situation. If you don't like the report, ignore it. There's no need to post flame bait replies suggesting I'm somehow less "awesome" at mongering than you are because I didn't do my "homework". It doesn't make Harmony any less of a shithole.

And where do you think your report will eventually end up? So unless someone checking daily they are not going to see it and what tool would they use to avoid a a bad experience?

This site has a pretty good thread search function. I know, using it would be a hassle since it might take an extra minute, but it would have saved you some grief. Since, as you said, you thought "hell, I got time to kill. What's the worst that could happen?", then I guess it wasn't as big a deal to you as you indicated in your report. At least you were kind enough to share with those of us that do read the reports here your experience to save us the hassle, thanks! BTW, that wasn't a "flame bait" reply I made, just an honest observation.
