Not sure & I could be wrong, but I don't think the IRS tends to issues warnings to those they are investigating, at least not till you get the summons to appear before them.

Though I tend to agree with you LB that the IRS shouldn't waste their time & our tax dollars going after revenue that would seem hard to collect.

However I would never underestimate what the IRS will & will not do, as they have shown too, if not a unpredictability, then at least a propensity to try & collect revenue on what assets you have today & what you may also have in future assets.

You can google any amount of high profile celebrities issues with the IRS, such as Chris Tucker, Wesley Snipes (did or doing jail time) , Nicholas Cage, Willie Nelson, etc the list goes on.

A not so high profile case Edward & Elaine Brown were indicted in the United States District Court in New Hampshire for numerous federal tax violations:

I have friends that were well off financially, got into trouble with the IRS in 1989, lost their case in 1994 & are in financial ruin now & probably will be for the rest of their lives.

Whether or not the IRS gets involved reamains to be seen.

I can only say with certainty that out of all the dogma aspects of law enforcement, the TAXMAN is the one I don't want on my ass!

If you have not seen any of the Zumba girl's vids (they are readily available on the net, and with excellent videography) , and have to pick one, it just has to be the popsicle one. (Some of the other vids, we have all seen plenty of screwing ones so those do not add much.)

What she can and does do with the popsicle is enticing, even if some is predictable. Some is not predictable. All of it is sexy. The IRS is ruthless. Some azzwipe called the IRS on a friend who owns a body shop, they destroyed him. He did "sidejobs" for cash. They went through all his purchases and determined that the amount of supplies, like paint, was far in excess of what would be used for the job tickets he had. They figured his income based on that. They also claimed his lifestlye, house, cars and boat couldn't be supported on the income he claimed. He had to sell everything in order to pay the tax and penalties they tacked, rather bolted, on.

They went after pizza places a few years back. X amount of sauce equaled Y numbers of pizza yet only z was claimed, pay up.

With the uptight, lily white, missionary only legislatures prodding the IRS they'll go after her. Getting restituation will be secondary to setting an example to other providers what could happen to them.

If the IRS were going to be involved, they would be already.

Alexis won't have any assets left after this criminal proceeding is involved, even if she beats the rap. Her attorney / legal fees and living expenses will exhaust what little she has right now.

IRS doesn't go after someone unless they can justify their time with actual revenue collected.

Thanks LB, I for one appreciate it as it seems some feel that other topics take precedence over the exchange of providers reviews, it also shows that the discussion can be moved to another forum regardless of where the topic originated.

As for the trial, we're just going to have to wait & see how this all plays out.

We can speculate on how the trial & other things may go, but it seems surprises always come up, making things go other than what was anticipated.

I'd like to see her beat the charges (unlikely) & that none of her friends or supposed clients testifies against her (highly unlikely).

Her biggest challenge may come from the IRS for tax evasion.

If there is money involved and the goverment wants their share. The IRS will be involved. It will only take one john to plead or testify at trial that he paid for sex. Her videos will not help her.
