Hi,

The Board is very helpful keeping me updated on the current bad times and developments associted with them.

My question is if someone out there might know with some credibility what, if any, linkage the Providence LE campaign has to any other, perhaps national, effort by whatever authority?

When this started I read some Connecticut area posts including my favorite from New Haven when I used to live in the area. They suggested then that it was closed related to the current pressures. Also, I remember the sad Waterbury CT story that never recovered. So the member references here are understood.

Different posters have vetted different scenarios. Cleanup prior to election time, the MA man who was victimized by an unprovoked spa worker assault, etc. But my hope would be that if this were just local grandstanding, it may recover with time. Whereas if this is some national coordinated LE agency program the odds might be less so of recovery.

So, any fact-based insights to help assess the situation would be appreciated.

I agree with Joe. That full page add was not a very smart move at this time. I was an infrequent customer up until a year ago when I had one of the best massages ever by an angel there whom I will miss very much. Up until things started to heat up, I was a weekly customer. I know I wasn't much for posting, never sure who's reading, but if things are over as I beleave they are, I will share my experience for old times sake. Did speak with my favorite girl on the phone (special relationship) she will not be returning. I will miss her. Sad days.

More viscous criminals off the streets . There were a couple unnamed Spa's we all loved trying to quietly reopen but with this latest news that certainly will send them running

Wouldn't blame them for seeking greener pastures. If anyone here happens to speak with any former proprietors, be sure to suggest that they consider reopening somewhere in the area but outside PVD proper. They may be too skittish to make an investment in a new place with so much paranoia around, but it's worth a shot.

Lily's went crazy with the full page ad in the Phoenix. I guess they thought that with les competition they could do it, but the full page was unnecessary and the extra attention couldn't have helped. Dumb move on their part IMHO.

If you went to Lily in the last couple of years and look closely at the last name listed of those arrested I think you can figure at least one of them out. Don't know about the other 2 but the one I speak of was a sweetheart and does not deserve this shabby treatment by "PVD's finest".

The reach of PVD's finest seems to be of limited scope. I went to Simple Pleasures in Central Falls a couple of weeks ago, and my hostess had no idea anything was going on in the next town.

If you went to Lily in the last couple of years and look closely at the last name listed of those arrested I think you can figure at least one of them out. Don't know about the other 2 but the one I speak of was a sweetheart and does not deserve this shabby treatment by "PVD's finest".

Based on interviews in "Happy Endings" of ladies arrested in Providence PD raids on AMPs a few years back I'd be curious how much money was confiscated as "evidence" and how much, if any, is returned when either the prosecutions are dropped or they're found not guilty?

A friend in the biz was caught not too long ago. Cop "confiscated" hundreds of dollars as evidence. Guess what? Cop never showed up at the "trial", charges were dropped, record expunged and my friend was told it would take an act of congress to get the "evidence" back. Hmmmm, I wonder where the money went?

I suggest a halt to throwing the SC's under the bus almost every other post. Fewer AMP options may make other options a bit more palatable.

Agreed 100. If the PVD SC contact is lessened, moving to FLA may seem like a great choice for me.

Sadly, I think PVD has gone the way of Waterbury some years ago and it never came back. And yes, utterly amazing that the SC's remain untouched. They advertise right in the same place as the spas (did) yet go unscathed.

Looking at the names of those arrested, there appears to be one that definitely does not deserve such a fate. She is a sweet woman. Such a waste of tax dollars and manpower when in that same neighborhood there is so much else going wrong.

The Lily Spa at 375 Admiral St, in operation for about eight years, lists its services in adult-entertainment advertisements in local media and online.

Capt. Anthony Sauro said he'd warned the owner that he was cracking down on massage parlors. The owner is listed as Choon Yeo Jeon, who didn't return a call to his Lincoln residence.

On Thursday, undercover detectives paid $60 for massages and were offered sex acts for another $40 to $60, Sauro said.

Hye Min Jung. 37, of Whitestone, N. Y, Mi Jang Park. 46, of Milford, Mass, and Ji Yu Jin. 43, of Flushing, N. Y. Were charged with prostitution

Talk about a close one. On Friday, I was deciding on where to spend my $100 when I saw Jaymee's ad in BP. I called her and left a message then headed north on 95. I was almost to Prov with no call back from her and figured I would head to Lily's. Luckily Jaymee called before I hit the off ramp so I continued on. The visit with her was a little disappointing ($100 for a 1/2 hour but anything beyond CBJ was extra) until now when I read the report on Lily's.
