Consider this a PSA and a vent. I really don't care how much a monger tips, but show some common sense in physically giving the tip.

It came to my attention this past weekend that some mongers make a big deal out of tipping in the presence of other staff working there. I can only assume that they do this because it feeds their ego, they hope to demonstrate they are okay to others should they have an interest in repeating, or are just not seeing the bigger picture. IF, a monger is going to a place that HE's are not generally known or given, EX: Mamasan or owner wants to maintain an appearance of legitimacy or innocence, the LAST thing a monger should do is tip in the presence of other staff.

I don't care how slick a dude thinks he is in slipping a tip, the other girls see it and so does the Mamasan (owner). At places where HE's are frowned on by management, a dude gives 30 or more tip and the other girls assume HE's were given. It gets worse when guys tip 60-80 for a HJ because the other staff think something more than just a HJ was given (got to love the asian irony.) The other girls complain to management and / or management starts to watch for it. Then, when confronted, the lady giving the extra has to lie or beg for forgiveness. Ultimately, she is sent packing.
