(Occupational exposure is a health-care worker exposed via blood, needle-stick etc. Non-occupational is use of injected drugs, having sex, etc.). Having sex with a prostitute is high-risk. Having sex (even unprotected) with a random girl is not, and most ERs won't start PEP if that is your story. The guidline for time from exposure to starting PEP is 72 hours, not 24.

Last year I was evicting a homeless drug attic from a property down town detriot when he stabbed me with his dirty neaddle I had to take 28 days of meds that made me so sick I could not leave the house. 6 months of blood tests to find out if I was safe. That being said Aids Is very hard to contract even if the person is tested positive, your biggest concern is hepatitis A, B, &C. The doc there told me 24 hours. Since I work in a HIPAA compliance department I did tell them what happened exactly. My suggestion for saying it was a casual sex partner was off the hip so I did not know it would work or not. Anyway I got a shot and a shit load of pills and I am waiting until 6 months to get tested.

Saw Chelsea around last week for an hr date at a motel, picked her up from coney on john are. This is my first time picking up a SW, we first decided to do just a car date & went into an alley, she said she knew an abodoned house, but I guess we took a wrong turn as it was a dead end, while coming out, saw LE parked at the entrance of the alley, he didn't flash his lights but did flash his white light at us, my first instincts was to stop my car, I was scared shitless, nervous as hell. But Chelsea said to keep going, so I did very calmly maintaining the sped limit, he followed us for like a mile and then just gave up, guess he ran my plates and came back clean, but honestly I thought my heart was about to explode, never been so sacred in my life. Dunno know how you guys do this on a regular basis, my hats off to all the SW vets. I got to respond here, you did the right thing by keep going but damn it, you should have met near the no-tel or just traveled to a off site out of the area!
