I found Jackie (sp?) on Wednesday morning around 5 AMatthe Ave and E. Clearfield. Jackie is blond, nice build w / wire frame glasses, early 20's. Could be confused for Michelle, who work a few blocks up toward the 7-11. She was wearing a pick thin strap top. I've seen her before and decided to try. Pickup was just of the Ave and she appeared a bit nervous during the P / U and drive to our spot. Unfortunately, I have that LEO look. In any event, once we arrivedatour spot she got a bit more comfortable. Got a nice view of here rack, which is nothing short of astonishing. It also doubles as her filing cabinet as I have never seen that may items stored in this area! (LOL). Once she was done unpacking, she got down to business. Let me tell you I have experience quite a bit and shhe was right up at the top, good DT, lots of tongue action and when it was time NQNS. She commented afterward how different guys like it different ways and she always enjoys experimenting to find out what they like. Well, she found it for me! I drove her back to a spot near where I picked her up and gave her a extra 5 for outstanding service. Will definitely look for her again! Only down side was here edgy feeling getting in (to be expected) and she did seem more subtle than I am use to, very quite.

Everyone's comments about how things have changed over the past 20-30 years are absolutely correct. Sure, years ago, you had girls presenting themselves as appealingly as possible because they knew they were in a competitive business. Men got to know the providers, the girls turned to them to satisfy more than just financial needs, and actual relationships developed. Remember the old movie character type. "the hooker with a heart of gold". Who did what she did because it was the only thing she knew how to do, and who was just as likely to give much of what she earned to people in need? Those weren't merely fantasies, even though they were overly-glamorized. Girls entered the "World's Oldest Profession" to support themselves and often their families, and there was a kind of back-alley respectability to things.

Now, regardless of the stories you may hear from individual occupants of your passenger seat, there's really one motivation, and it ain't the rising cost of college tuition. In a conversation with one wise-beyond-her-years young lady a couple of weeks ago, she said it all with "Why do I do this? Drugs, of course. You start by getting high once in a while 'because, why'know, it's what everyone is doing, and then it takes hold of you. And before you know it's all you care about in the world and every though, every minute, is only about that. I get in your car, I'm thinkin' what do I have to do, how much money can I get from you, and how much shit can that buy me. And how long it'll hold me before I have to go out and do it again. Any girl tells you she's doing it for any reason but drugs. She's full of shit, and just tryin' to play you for more money."

Kinda says it all, huh?

And with the desperation of their presence driven by the drugs, less and less regard is paid to appearance, and the presence of these victims becomes more obvious, raising more public awareness, and the next thing you know, the political sabers begin getting rattled again, and more and more men and women in blue (and both marked and unmarked conveyances) are deployed to clean the streets of this scourge.

Not only has the K gotten worse, but AC and Camden have seen much better days (and nights) as well. Who can forget the ole Admiral Wilson Bld, and AC when there were 5 or 6 chicks on every corner dressed for the party. I started back in the 80's and never had any problems. No problems with LE or the girls. Back in the day, I always cruised at night, usually around 7pm or 8pm. The girls then were usually decent-looking, had ok attitudes, and didn't seem so strung out on drugs. Never a problem when I proposed to take them to my house, in lieu of a car date (which I never do). The K seems much different now, much worse now in every aspect. Maybe I'm just more careful, but I don't go there anymore. It seems a shame to me, because it used to be a good thing. Maybe it's still a good thing and it's just my aging perception, I don't know. Are there any other old timers still out there? Does it seem worse to you too? I'm just not willing to take the chance anymore. Too bad. I have some great memories of the K.

I started this hobby back 1990 and almost every week when I got paid I was down there, sometimes even a little drunk. Couple of crazy chicks, never had a problem with LEO. Use to let the girls pick the spot or even goto a house or abandon bld, never had an issue. Now NO WAY, if you ever seen the movie 'the craizes' I think that plane crashed into the Schuylkill river. Last time I was down there was about a year ago in the afternoon talked to one girl around Tioga st station and all of a sudden she started to flip out on me for no reason. I had to walk the around the block twice to get rid of her so she didn't know what car was mine. To top it off 15min later I was reconing around the somerset st area and got pulled over for no reason said "I looked out of place" and told me to leave the area.

Now I drive the extra miles to A / C or Baltimore much safer

It is with my deepest regrets to inform the members of this forum of the sad news that has been passed on to me.

Although there have been no official accounts as of yet, my sources tell me that Gwen has passed away Wednesday evening.

Out of respect for Gwen I will keep the particulars private for now.

My sources are very dependable and accordingly one source was present at the time of her death.

Gwen has been a wonderful provider for quite some time. I know of only good reports of her services. There was never any ripoff reports about Gwen even though there were some very hard times where she struggled a bit harder than some.

Gwen always had a warm hello and smile for me even if we wasn't dating. She always treated her circle of friends with kindness and went the extra mile to ensure their satisfaction.

I know Gwen will be missed by many who frequent the ave. I can only say she remained a very good friend and will always be in my heart.

Yes you are able to bail yourself, but there is more to the headache then just bail. Your car will also get towed, and depending on the circumstance you may get your photo plastered in the news paper.
