The best thing that could have happened has happened. The Kensington Strangler will be behind bars the rest of his life. He took the lives of three innocent people. People that did not even know him. People that had enough problems without having to meet up with him. This guy deserves exactly what he got if not more. I'm sure the other inmates have their ways of dealing with punk ass rapists and murderers. To the victims and their families I wish them all peace.

There is too much money to be made and the "suppliers" are far more creative and unrestricted than the authorities are.

The bottom line is-if LEO is successful in curtailing the drug trade, then there won't be a lot of girls around.

As much as it would hamper the whole monger thing, I think it would be great if somehow the Police were actually going to make this happen on a wide scale.

The City is just too big to be able to stop the drug trade-they clean up one block and it moves somewhere else.

I can't put up my email or facebook address. That's an invitation to spam or worse. And if you and I agree to meet and talk, guess who would show up. Did I mention this Cookie Jar is a registered gun owner?

About the cops. They will not act unless you have credible information that YOU have been harassed. You'll have to give up your name, though it would be confidential until trial. I can't give out whom I have spoken with. I was able to get two of the girls I work with to sign a complaint, which is not part of the public record yet. It's really up to the District Attorney's office to determine if the complaints should move forward. You can help.

Here's my advice. If you or someone you know has had any interaction with Cookie Jar, go to the nearest police station and tell the story. Same if you get his car license, make, or model. He's a known person of interest in the drug areas of Philadelphia. I'm not sure about the 'burbs. The city police office closest to where my girls have seen him is at Girard & Montgomery (26th District. 615 E. Girard Ave. 215-686-3260).

Since I only work in Philadelphia three days per week, and have for the last thirty-plus years, and was told in this very sub-forum that (paraphrase)"I did not belong here because I don't live here", a statement reinforced by the fact that I had supported a poster who was then going through what could very well have been considered his own version of hell, I'll make this short and sweet:

It's about civility, period. That should be the number one rule within this, or any forum. Moderators have been put into place for purposes of upholding policy, and while it's up to us to police ourselves to a high degree, vindictive statements have cost this once-thriving community greatly.

As the saying goes,"If we don't learn from history, we are doomed to repeat it".
