I love perusing your pics and always look forward to seeing them. I've got nothing but respect for your dedication to your hobby. But before you get into Olan Mills mode, please give these girl's a wash rag and suggest they clean the bottom of their feet. Or have some courtesy socks on hand. And I know, I know. Some people like dirty feet, blah, blah. There's a difference in classy dirty and I haven't taken a bath in 2 days dirty.

Many are unaware of the term given the "dirty feet" in the Kensington area. KENSO FEET. Yes that's it KENSO FEET. These women can step out of a shower and within an hour need to clean their feet. Not because THEY are dirty but the area they frequent is just filthy. CookyJar once suggested to one reader to put on a pair of flip flops and walk back and forth block after block and then look at their own feet. I don't think he was being at all sarcastic. He was just expressing what any knowledgeable person that frequents the area already knows. Kensington ave is a dirty dirty place in more ways than one. My suggestion is lets keep it that way and a wash cloth handy cause I just love dirty girls. Hell dirt washes off Dirty is embedded if you know what I mean. LOL

Nobody said this is directed against mongers. However, the new District Commander has stated publicly that he wants to eradicate prostitution and drugs-and links them together, as in one feeds the other.

Certainly there's a large police presents in Kensington. I would never ever dispute that fact. And, it is not my intentions to suggest that that fact should be ignored or taken lightly. In fact, it is to the contrary that I would like to argue. My contention is that, no matter what their number, Law enforcement is a vital essence to the art of mongering.

I think you have a valid point here-but LE is going all-out offensive right now and it affects mongering to a great extent. I-For one, have not been discouraged in any way from pursuing pussy, but I am being ultra-cautious.

Does anyone really believe that the actions of the Philadelphia Police force, in Kensington, are being focused on the guys who visit the area to pick-up women? They (the authorities) most have some sense of priorities. Most of the LE actions that I have witnessed in the Kensington area have been directed towards the drug trade, petty thieves and other real criminals and not towards us. With the exception of the occasional string, we seem to be a low priority nuisance. The SWAT team which JerryGarcia observed was not out trying to catch men searching for women for sex.

I disagree with this premise to the extent that if LE sees you picking up or dropping off a girl on Kensington Avenue, they will stop you and possibly arrest you. They are attempting to crack down on prostitution (no pun intended).

I see a large LE presents as part of the Yin & Yang, the Ebb & Flow, it is the double edge sword that both protects us and prevents us. I don't fear Law Enforcement. I have a healthy respect for them.

Again! I am not suggesting that anyone ignore the presents of Law Enforcement. But! When considering whether to visit the area perhaps we should reconsider our concerns about their presents. And, regardless of what anyone else has to say, about high or low police numbers – always be vigilant and alert to what going on around you – it only takes one to ruin your day.

As I have stated previously-MAKE SURE.

1) you have a valid license, registration and insurance card in your possession when visiting Kensington.

2) DO NOT be driving around with burned out headlights or any lights not in working order-LE will use this as an excuse to pull you over.

Once again, I prefer mongering in the 26th District as opposed to the combined 24th / 25th-when I am visiting Kensington.

Or better yet-I prefer calling up a girl who I know can provide great service and meeting her cautiously for a date. Sadly, most of the phone numbers I have don't work.

I often spend hours down there riding around and checking things out at different times of evening and night. My observation is that LE is using a lot of tactics that they have not previously employed in other past initiatives-and that they sometimes are watching girls from a distance-so if they see you pick one up, they may come after you or they may not.

Ran into her today on Lehigh took her to dinner and back to my office. She waited till she got to my office before pulling out her tools, I apreciated that. The photo was taken by CJ. He put a review of her up on 5/18/12. I must say she is one of the nicest girls I have met so far on the ave. She has that sexy secratary look that really turns me on. It is pretty weak that fellow mongers have sought information from CJ and then wasted the opportunity by not putting it to use. If one reads the threads, CookyJar tells us where he found this gem. However, that area is now a place where few dare to venture (not even the Marines, LOL) due to the all-out police state that exists, so pardon those who ask for telephone information as the street game is definitely affected by this all-out surge.

Please tell me that you are not suggesting that it is alright for UrbanBook and I to go out and take the risk that you are others are not willing to take. And that after taking that risk we should be willing to share the fruits of our ventures. LOL (Just kidding you.)

...I made a trip down the K over the weekend, and it is definitely not a good idea to be looking for girls in the combined 24th / 25th. Apparently Philadelphia (which is financially strapped) has the cash to buy lots of new Police vehicles-marked and unmarked. I saw someone getting pulled over by a brand-new unmarked dark blue Ford Taurus with tinted-out windows at 7:30 PM Saturday at K and Westmoreland. Uncle LEO also has a boatload of brand-new big ass white SUV's that are marked-even saw one vehicle marked SWAT Team down there-these boys aren't effing around. They are patrolling side streets and backstreets, as well as sitting in strategic spots waiting to pounce.

Certainly there's a large police presents in Kensington. I would never ever dispute that fact. And, it is not my intentions to suggest that that fact should be ignored or taken lightly. Over the years I have learned to ignore the many, many USASexGuide reports on LE presents. I have ignored those reports stating that there is an increase presents and those reporting a lesser presents, equally. That is not to say that I did not read the reports. I read them. I did not let them determine whether I would visit the area. Nor, did I let them (LE reports) sway my decision to make a particular pick-up. It is my contention that statements proclaiming the presents of law enforcement in Kensington, whether heighten or otherwise are useless and may even be harmful.

Although I have not research it, I believe I am safe in assuming – Kensington (the community) is the most crime ridden section of Philadelphia. If it does not have the highest murder rate in the city, it is close. And the same goes for all of the other major crimes. Assaults, rape, burglary, robbery, home invasions, drugs, prostitution; name it and Kensington has it. Most of what happens in Kensington goes unreported by the major news sources. As a casual visitor to the area I have witness two unreported (by the media) deaths and that is two more than I have witness anywhere else in Philadelphia. Based on the amount of crime in the area, a heighten police present should be expected. It is the norm, not the exception. To suggest or imply the possibility of anything else would be detrimental to hobbying in Kensington.

I always assume that the number of police in the Kensington area is going to be greater than in the suburbs where I live. The police presents in Kensington, on a normal day, is greater than the police presents in Germantown – another high crime area. On a normal day, the police presents is greater on Kensington Avenue than in all of Center City Philadelphia. Think about it. Has anyone ever heard of sting operations being held on the streets of any other neighborhood? It is clear to me as it should be clear to every hobbyist; LE goes where there is the most crime and where it is most prevalent.

IMHO, more important than knowing the number of police working the area at any given time is knowing the laws and especially what laws your can be stopped for. The laws in the badlands differ from the rest of the city. You are more likely to be stopped for J-walking in Kensington than anywhere else in Philadelphia. I have seen it. Crimes that are usually given a warning under most conditions, anywhere else in Philadelphia often warrant disciplining if they occur in Kensington. There are more traffic stops given in Kensington than anywhere else in Philadelphia. If you know and obey the laws your chances of being harassed lessen. IMHO, knowing how to legally pick-up or discharge a passenger is more important than knowing whether there are 5 officers or 105 officers out. It only takes one to ruin your day.

Another, and most important in my opinion, consideration is their (LE) actions as a deterrent. A high police presents has to have some effect on the operations of the local thugs who if given the opportunity would prey on the more weak of the available prey. It really boils down to this; would you rather have a high police presents or an increase in the number robbers, boosters, thieves, carjackers highwaymen, pimps and other con-men who mainly prey on mongers and helpless girls. I am not talking about the number of arrest they make or their policing skills. I am merely suggesting that just as we worry about their presents; certainly their being around bothers those elements, our real enemies, who are an even bigger threat to our safety. I dread to think what the area would be like if there were no police (or a weak police presents). We would become prey; fodder for the grosser elements. (Most of you are afraid to get out of your cars as it is! Without the police as deterrents you would not be able to drive down the avenue.)
