This is true, and I agree; however, based on my own experience, buying a drink signifies some investment. If you want to gauge whether a girl is really into you, and not in it for the money, the drink shouldn't matter. If she is into you, then the pvt. Dance is not seen (by either you or the girl) as a similar investment, but rather as a means to get some alone time. As I've posted before, if a girl is willing to sit with you despite you buying her a drink, then she is choosing to be there. If she talks with you and never even asks for a dance, that's a pretty good sign that she's not trying to make money (off you in this case) , but rather because she is interested in you for one reason or another. I've been pretty successful with this philosophy. It's not necessarily because I'm cheap. It's more of a test. I can easily find girls to do more stuff if I pay, but based on experience, the ones who just want to mess around without trying to drain my wallet provide a much more intense and intimate experience.

Go in there with a set amount of money. Stick to a budget. And say you never do VIPs. THat'll weed out the one's in it for all the money with no rewards. Don't buy drinks for girls.
