But I left wondering if I undertipped or overtipped.

For a HJ 40 should be the standard tip. You don't want to overpay obviously but you don't want to come off as cheap either. 40 is about where it should be, but you know here in Chicago many providers make sad faces if they don't get 60 for HJ. IMHO these should be the going rates for various services: HJ. 40; BJ. 60, FS. 100. Yet as I just said many want an additional 20 on top of those rates. You can always politely refuse if she's not willing to negotiate, especially with HJs.

Then again, if she didn't complain about the 30 tip you left her, more power to you. I did that at United with Lucy last year; left a 30 tip and she seemed very happy to get that. She was Korean, and I'm not trying to sound biased here, but in general I think the Koreans are more appreciative and grateful for any tip you leave them than the Chinese are. That's just my opinion though; others may think differently but to each their own.

Drive that car to Detroit. Seriously. Chicago area strip joints are a massive waste of time and money. You would be better off with a monthly trip to the motor city.

I don't know for sure since I haven't been, but it's exactly the address that one of the girls around the corner from Costco has been whispering about moving to. If so, I'd recommend.

It's been a while since I have visited any of the gentleman's clubs in the area, but I'm guessing things haven't changed much. The well-known clubs in the city have great looking girls, but you won't get much mileage. I would suggest Industrial Strip in Hammond, IN.

Not sure about Ohio, but Dallas has a great scene. There are several areas with K-Girls and Thai girls, and very little pretense about what is on the menu. There are a number of Chinese AMPs as well in the Richardson / Plano areas that are more subtle but also offer a variety of services. Dallas has variety that is almost on par with SoCal, but what I like about Dallas even more so than SoCal is that 60 min is the standard session. In SoCal it's hard to find an AMP that will give more than a 30 min appointment.

Too bad that ChiTown is not doing so well. I just moved to St. Louis, and it's terrible here. I am hoping to make it up there for the occasional weekend and partake in the hobby.

Not really. A tip is a major component of a tech's pay.

She will get a slice of the door fee for sure, but if you expect anyone to do that job without making significant coin in tips you are fooling yourself.

What I heard is they get from the house $15 for a 30 min, $20 for an hour. With no "for sure" that you will make even one penny if the shop is slow.

I went in March and I saw a young red head, I think Cassie with nice rack. She gave an okay massage standard EMP massage. I think we should always remember a tip is a tip. Most of the masseuses in the city now are almost demanding. 40 for a tip because she gave you a HE but remember .40 is not mandatory. Reality of the situation is that the masseuse is at the mercy of what ever you give her. If you give anything less she is going to give you the story of .60 goes to the house. Well okay fine. As far as I am concerned I just payed .60 for 1hr of service and I think that is good money. If times are good and I can comfortably pay then no problem but when funds are tight I am not going to pay .40.

A previous monger states that you should only bring what was negotiated which is good advice: I bring only what I will pay comfortably wheather being the same agreed or a bit more.

OPIllini if you payed .40 beyond what you were expecting (total .80 tip) and it did not hurt you then you did nothing wrong. There is nothing wrong with giving someone a good bye gift especially if you have appreciated their service over time. Regret comes when you give more that you can comfortably afford.

I hope you find something worthwhile when visiting the bars on Lake/Mannheim. As far as I am concerned they are worse than the AMPs because at the bars all you get is a tease at .20 per song. I am not saying that I am the --know all-- , --be all-- but if you know of other then maybe you can post or PM.

Definitely agreed with Eddinger. Looks like I'll be going to the Lake / Mannheim area bars for awhile, and when I do go AMPing it'll be to United in Norridge.
