Nice report. Personally, I would have dropped Missy a long time ago regarding getting a HE. Some guys claim to have gotten one from her but most do not. Having been reading about the facilities at Golden Touch and decided to give it a try. It took a minute to find it, GPS turned me around a couple of times and its not the best location or best looking from the outside. But everyone was right, it was one of the nicest I have even been to on the inside. Big spacious room, nice clean shower room. Was greeted by the Mamasan with a hug and taken to a room way in the back."I bring you nice girl". A few minutes later, in walked Ethel. I know right, how the hell did she come up with that name? She had me chuckle when she told me her name, so I guess its a good marketing ploy to remember it. She said she just came here from Tampa. Long hair, B cup and great personality. She likes to say your name alot and loves to say "cool beans" She also has this little cartoon voice she pulls out every once in a while followed by a giggle. Best table shower I have had in a long time. Well since the last one I had at Peachtree Spa was done by a 60+ mamasan who acted like she was shucking corn, it had to be better, but this one was actually very good. Back to the room, the massage started with powder instead of oil. It was light touch and she likes to use her hair to massage your back and blow on the boys for effect. It worked. I usually do not go for the full monty like a lot of guys do, so our session was perfect for what I was looking for. Not sure what all is on the menu. The other thing I liked is that after I was done and there was some time left, she got me back on my stomach, did some back walking and a decent massage. I will definitely be back to see her. I've read many times on this board and others like it when fellow mongers DO scold others for spending too much, suggesting they're driving prices up for the rest of us. I'm not saying you did, and you were very careful to stay away from any implication you were. In any case, I'm always left with the impression of hey, to each his own. After reading Itsart's follow-on posts, it's clear he likes the chase. And for his circumstances, I guess it makes sense.

But I'm with you, at least I think I am. I don't find the chase to be of any value at all. I hate the wink and nod, the implications of service that never happens, and the stupid haggling. I've been there many times. If people are paying for that and thereby "rewarding" AMP providers for that behavior, I hate to see it happen from my personal viewpoint.

Regarding AMP visits, I've stopped going after Maia closed, preferring to stick with strip club VIPs. Maia was the best though, and I was spoiled. I have been thinking, however, of making a return trip to the re-branded Doshi ever since I've read a positive review or two on it. Once there, I suspect my approach is like most mongers here. I'll pay my $60 house fee and get my steam room, TS, and basic massage. Then I'll negotiate on the flip for whatever I feel like I want, and based on how frisky and cute the masseuse happens to be. I'll generally pay $40-$60 addnl for a nude HJ, $80 for nude BJ, and $120 for FS. From what I can tell, that's fairly middle-of-the-road.

When I go, I'll be sure to add to the reviews.

Have to agree with AMP Fme, you're probably going to be disappointed with Doshi. It's not even close to what one would find at the old Maia. I would only stop in if I were driving by. No need to make a special trip. IMO, Golden Touch is probably on par with the old Maia.

Did you go to the one on Cobb parkway at 285 or the one at Barrett parkway and 41?

The one at 285 does not seem to provide extras. If you went to Barrett parkway and didn't get a HE then that is unusual.

I went to the one on Barrett. It was late afternoon between 4-5pm. Got a lady that looked high 30's low 40's. She wasn't to much of a looker anyways so not a huge disappointment but seeing as those it is basically in my backyard it would be nice to know of there is a provider there who does indeed offer a HE.

Fair enough. FWIW, I think you will be disappointed in Doshi. Suggest Golden Touch or perhaps K-Spa as both have gotten recent good reviews. (both are searchable on BP.)

I have been roaming Atlanta for years and enjoying reports here for a long time but have never contributed. Its a slow day so I thought I would add a little to the discussion. I look for great sexy massages as the first criteria in selecting providers. If a HE can be cajoled its a good thing but I like the game of talking the reluctant into helping me out much more than the eager beaver who is only too happy to shake hands the day we meet. Went to pileo today in s springs after seeing it mentioned here. What a let down."yuki" said she had been there 4 years, talked wayyyy to much during the massage, covered me on the flip and when I removed the towell at the end and said what about the little guy she said nope don't do that. Went to elite instead and scored a HE with what is becoming a sure thing. Yuki was very small,"be" looking bolt ons and she looked near 40 perhaps. Not a bad spinner look but looks didn't do much. She said they don't advertise because they get plenty of regulars. I am wondering who the hell the regulars are that go back again and again. Anyone ever get better service than this? I try for weekly massages, but sometimes I miss a week. But, where we differ is that I don't try or care about the extras when I am going for the legit. If it happens, it does so with little or no urging from me. Your approach seems to be geared towards long term goal of FS whilst getting legit massages over an extended period of time. I separate the two.

You may have explained my goals better than I did. My goal is to turn a legit massage into much more at no additional cost over an extended period of time. It takes me a while to find someone I am interested in investing that sort of time on and then it takes even longer to get them to cooperate. I am absolutely sure that is not the purpose of this forum as I have been a long time lurker.

I agree with the premise of your comment, and would say it applies to nearly every free-market situation I can think of where those wishing to pay lower prices feel frustrated by those willing to pay more to get less. Certainly that's working in this case, and yes, if I were an AMP provider and thought I could make decent money by stringing guys along with a tease, I'd do it. Why put out more than I have to?

As to whether it's good or bad, I think it's really neutral or perhaps not relevant, because trying to cajole or urge consumers not to exercise their perception of value never works. We, as a freely purchasing and non-organized consumer group, are like water in a vessel. The price / service equation will find its natural level. There will always be those for whom the lesser value offering (ie, the tease) is worth it (our friend Itsart) and those for whom it's a complete waste of time and money.

But that goes for every other item of value. Every time someone pays an exorbitant price for a sports or music ticket, it makes it just that much harder for me to see the same event for what I consider to be fair and reasonable price. Want to ding those people across the noggin for spending so much, because in my mind, it sends the wrong message. But then, so it goes with everything, hotel rooms at crowded venues, flowers during Valentine's day, airfares over Thanksgiving, ad nauseum.

In the end though, I realize I also enjoy the fruits of this free market situation. The comparatively lower prices I can score if I'm willing to not go with the herd. Therefore, I travel on "shoulder" months, eat out on Wednesday nights, and fly overseas for legal sex options that most guys won't do. It's a matter of perspective. While I acknowledge the pressure on prices that Itsart's action cause for the rest of us, I can't say he's wrong for deciding the value proposition is appropriate for him. No more than I'd want him doing that to me for spending more than he would on some items I find more valuable than he.
