Saw a new foot massage ad on CL advertising $20 foot massages so checked out. Turns out it's the old May's under new ownership. All the masseuses are unattractive as one would expect but the massage was good for the price. I drew Jin, the oldest in the bunch.

It reminds me of a time when I had breakfast at a diner not far from a football stadium on a game day Saturday. The diner only had about a half dozen parking places, but while eating, I saw the owner put a sign in the window "Football Parking $100." I said he wasn't likely to get anyone to park there at those prices and he said that was the idea. He was running a business, not a parking lot, but if someone was willing to pay that price, he would do it.

The odds are this girl isn't really interested in providing full service, but if someone is dumb enough to pay a ridiculous price, she'll do it. What she probably hasn't figured out yet is that she will lose more customers with the stunt she pulled that she'll "gain" by the rare goof who forks over the cash.

I guess I need to read the reviews closer. Saw their name pop up quite a bit so took the plunge. I did not realize it was a place with partial walls and curtain door. Add the fact that it was busy and there were customers on both sides of me and you can hear everything made it very distracting. Got a decent massage, the full hour and left happy so all was not lost, but I prefer a place with a little more privacy and you can have a little conversation with the lady without the whole world hearing you, or you hearing them.

While we're on the topic of deceptive ads, I'd like to remind everyone to avoid Missy of Missy's Retreat in Duluth. It's in the strip mall next to Tong China Massage. Missy is a 40-ish Vietnamese who isn't bad looking, but who doesn't give a HE. She'll post a bust pic of herself with her shoulders exposed, suggesting she may be naked, but it's simply a marketing ploy. At least I've never heard of anyone getting a HE from her.

Missy does strictly therapeutic massage, no 'extras'. I like her massages and after a couple of visits I tried to see if she'd do more. She just doesn't, flat out. I could tell she was a bit miffed about me asking, even though the question has got to come up a lot.

I still go for the massages, though. She's strong and pretty, and once she got to know me was pretty talkative (which I like).

At least the massage was good and only cost $50. If nothing else I will go there when all I'm looking for is a massage. I know what to expect now.

A classic example of bait and switch. I would not expect too much on a return visit. The best you can do is let her go through her teasing motions, then plant her hand on your woodie and hope she bites. If not, you've been forewarned. If she fails to do so after having cock-teased you to death, give her a piece of your mind on behalf of all mongers.

Stopped by Apple Spa on my way through ATL. Was greeted by a woman that I thought was the mamisan as she was older, slightly hefty, and you get the idea. There was a man running the front desk so I don't know if it will be different when he is not around.

Thanks. That sound about right from what I remember from her days at Spa Bella and then the two places on Buford Hwy in north Duluth before she settled on her current location. Its a decent massage. Lots of lotion. Not real firm, but she does use forearms and elbows a little bit. Most of the time spent when you are on your stomach. A fair amount of teasing. On the flip, throws something the size of a diaper on your privates and works your upper thighs. All in all a decent massage. Nothing like a real legit place and not near as firm. If you can get the HE, it is worth it. If not I would pass.
