I snapped a few links that I recall posting in. This is by no means all inclusive of the advice available nor am I claiming to know it all. At least this will give you a place to start looking. I'm still "wet behind the ears" compared to the experience of our peers!

I only want to add a couple of minor things:

First, when you look over the thread of stroll maps, the post you want for THIS forum is post #6.

Second, a newbie needs to drive the stroll several times to get a sense of it and try circling some blocks. Since we advise to NEVER make a U-Turn on the avenue, you need to be aware that the area around the K is full of one-way strreets that rarely go the one way you want when you want to circle back for someone. You will have to go several blocks out of your way to get back to where you are going so just get used to it.

Third, don't pick up on the avenue. Learn to spot "the look." Return "the look" and turn the next corner and wait for her to come to you. Let her in, drive away and don't discuss anything other than the weather until you are sure you are not being followed.

Finally, after she gets in the car or when she gets close to your door, you'll get a better look at her than you had passing her on the avenue. If you are not happy, or if she is obviously stoned or otherwise offensive, then RIGHT AWAY, say "Oops, sorry, I thought you were someone else." and FIRMLY let her out of the car.
