We got out, walked past some street trash (human) and shouted up to the window. No response, so off we went to another place she knew. This time the window responded positively.

The place, as expected, was a dive, inhabited by several black men, kind of standing around doing nothing. The proprietor seemed to expect the high $20 fee, and pointed us upstairs. The room was barren with a thin mattress leaning against the wall and the window wide open.

Nay literally tried to grab the money out of my hand, which I put a stop to. She had this habit of smiling when I smiled and then immediately turning it off. Too bad. She is absolutely gorgeous when she smiles.
