So I have one question for you, where is the best motel / hotel (clean) in the area?

Well if you braved the streets of philly then bmore is about the same. IMHO The best bang for the buck. (pun intended) is the beltway motel on Washington blvd. It's semi private close enough to the strolls. And full service restaurant and bar. Clean enough to crash if you plan on sleeping. 62 bucks per night. Check out at 11.

Park plaza motel on rt2 Brooklyn is ground zero and cheap like the Beltway but just too close and sometimes sketchy. But you can literally open your door and have them stroll in.

Now the best deals are online and just make sure they are close enough to the strolls and have enough privacy so you can come and go with guests without bringing too much attention to yourself. You'll spend about the same and get much better hotels. My personal fave is La quinta (clean) on rt 2 or Motel 6 on nursery Road.

Beltway and park plaza dirty motels but surprisingly decent.
