Thanks to Maryland Judiciary Case Search, I was able to locate 3 favorit retired SW. Along with their recent traffic violations, the addresses were listed. I did a little MapQuesting and the girls have not moved too far.

Please, do not think with the little head on this subject. The question is not whether it is stalking or approaching. It probably is legal. But, it is most certainly the wrong thing to do.

I have family members who have left the "biz" as a result of trying to leave the drugs. If you contact these women, you risk her attempt at change, you risk ruining her family life as it may now exist, and you risk having your ass beat if I ever saw you near my recovering loved one. If she is your "friend" she would have contacted you. But, people in recovery must, by necessity, leave some "friends" behind. Now, if you see her on a BackPage ad, why then, go for it! The point is, it's her choice, not ours. Peace.

Having a good mongering relationship is different from having a good personal relationship. If you are approaching a girl who have left the streets and trying to pull her back then you are more pimp than monger. Most girls are not leaving the SW they are leaving the drugs, so if you are a good friend to the girl your relationship woulld not change.

You are far off the mark. We have used the term "stalking" loosely as a form of candid attack from time to time. Did you notice I used the term approach. To to put the bullshit and attacks to rest, here is the final word in Maryland: Md. Criminal law Code Ann. § 3-802. Stalking. (2004)

The code is clear, for example the term "course of conduct" means a persistent pattern of conduct, composed of a series of acts over time, that shows a continuity of purpose. There is a term for this. Stalking. Unless you had a relationship where you were also "friends," meaning you knew where she lived, exchanged phone numbers, maintained contact even without "dating," etc. the answer is an emphatic NO! These girls only do what they do for the medication, and once the medication is no longer needed, their way of life changes. Frequently they are embarrassed and / or disgusted by what they were doing and don't want to be reminded of it. They also don't want anyone in their current environment knowing what they used to do. In addition, the addresses you have are the ones given at the time of arrest, which could be her parents, a boyfriend at the time, or a multitude of other addresses. I had a girl once give MY address when she was arrested! There are exceptions, but very seldom. I have had a couple of girls from the past contact me a while after they got away from the life, but these were girls who thought of me as a friend also, and wanted to maintain contact. I still maintain contact with several of them, but with one exception they are no longer "in the business." Retirement from the streets usually DOES mean retirement from the trade.

The girls have left to get away fron drugs and life style and the lure of easy money could suck them back in how do you know they are in need of cash. I would leave those girls alone and let them get on with there lives.

I used to love Shannon when she first started coming out many years ago.
