You call it flaming and we call it policing ourselves as to be fair to the provider and in the end ourselves. Here is my. 02 not that you asked for it or even care. So you went out and had your visit. Pissed her off in the door fee dept and then again in the tip dept. And how is that being fair to the masseuse as you wrote? So I go in to see her (or someone she knows and talks to) later that day or the next. And what do I get. A distrustful, pissed off provider who isn't going to give me the service or the session that I want and probably would have gotten if she hadn't been shortchanged on the tip that she SHOULD have gotten. And yes it is obvious when that happens just like it is obvious when one of us has a bad day. The massage may not be as good, the back and forth may not be as nice and now being distrustful she may want the tip upfront which tends to ruin the mood. So yes your being a cheap bastard does ruin it for others.

As far as an addiction or a hobby. I've been doing this for 30 years ON and OFF. The reason for the on and off is that when times are tight I cut back or just don't go at all. In the last 2 years I had a period where I was out of work for 5 months and didn't go and lived through your experiences on the board. And with the current economic climate I've only been a couple of times since last fall. I don't have the extra scratch so I'm not going to go. I'm not as you said going to put my family in peril to get a HJ. And to be qable to enjoy that every once in awhile experience I just don't spend elsewhere. At 5-10 bucks a week on lunch I make it myself now and save that $ for my visit. Same with morning java. I make it myself, I don't go out with the 'gang' and drop bucks. We all spend on ourselves and if we are willing to trade one for another then we can deal.

On the other hand if your a 'sex addict' and need 'strange' all the time then I guess it can be an addiction. Of course it is emotional or mental rather than a physical one. Which category you fall into I don't know and I wish you luck. But not being fair to the hard working providers is a shame and TBH one that we won't stand for. So your out on an island my friend.

Stamp collecting is a hobby. What you and I are engaged in is an addiction. Given the fact that we cannot control this impulse, I try not to let the financial impact devastate my family and our ability to pay our bills. I will continue to frequent the establishments where the masseuse and I both agree that the tip is fair.

Have seen Shirley in Lexington a couple of time s & had a good experience. Good massage with ample teasing & flirting. As others have reported limited access to Shirley's assets but the last time I did manage to get ahold of those big nips. She has a great backside & flirty, fun attitude. Easy parking and a handy finish.

I TOFFT at Red Dragon in Medford recently. There is some on-street 1-hour and 2-hour parking near there, but can be pretty hard to find. The mamasan suggested I part at the nearby CVS or in a bank's parking lot.

Some gentle rubbing on the torso with no teasing or hint of any extras. After guiding her hands to where I wanted, she finished it off pretty mechanically, all the while saying that they don't normally do this there. Minimal OTC roaming.

I'm guessing this was the Golden Flower (suite 1A) that opened up in Feb. The reviews on that place were good with a topless HJ the usual outcome. The massage was good and the tease also worthwhile. Sounds like they have changed again and not for the better.

Oh, I think you are completely wrong. This is definately a hobby. A hobby is something you do for relaxation and or pleasure, and this accomplishes both. I'm sure if you look in the dictionary the definition will be similar. Much like your definition of hobby being stamp collecting, this hobby is collecting experiences. Also, collecting things that interest you can be addicting, such as stamps, coins, collectibles and yes, even experiences like we "collect" here.

Thank you for your professional advice. In fact, I DO recognize my problem and I AM getting help. Recognizing the problem is the first step in fixing it. It sucks looking back over the years and realizing I have spent thousands of dollars for HJ's. I am trying my best to limit my visits. This is a tough addiction to break. If you doubt me, see how long you can go without a HJ at a MP. Then tell me that it's a "hobby" rather than an addiction.

I always pay the standard tip for a one hour session and would tip more for a 90 minute session if the session was very good and the house fees for 60 and 90 minute sessions were the same.

I've had several providers tell me that time is money and they expect a tip accordingly for longer sessions. Then again, I've had numerous times where the provider went way over time and when I tried to tip more was told no, not necessary. If owner is provider and the house is higher than usual, I don't tip at all as there is that old adage that you never tip the owner but in certain cases where I see the owner, and the house is standard, I always tip well as the experience is excellent (and somehow gets better every time, if that is possible).

Point is, tipping is relative to circumstance; there are some basic guidelines one should follow in fairness to the provider but beyond that its a personal matter. That said, common sense will tell you that if you cheap out, don't expect to have fun a second time.

Ummm. Obviously though you and the masseuse DIDN'T agree on what was a FAIR tip.

You decided what you wanted to pay. And that WASN'T agreeable to her.

So, save more, frequent less. Pay what is appropriate.

A friend who has had long experience as a Hobbyist tells me that though he'd never pay a less than standard tip for 1/2 hour service, he does pay extra when he has engaged in a 90 minute session. I've always felt that since I'm already a generous tipper, I don't need to pay a larger tip for the extra :30 minutes as I'm already paying a 50% additional House fee for that.

What say you?
