There's an old adage that says,"The true character of a person comes out when confronted with adversity or difficulty." I won't speak for other members of this forum, CD, but you don't seem to take constructive crticism very well. And, with regard to my reply, you took offense too quickly.

As I said in my post, perhaps you have Been generous with your intel via PMs. I can't verify that, one way or the other, but I allowed for that possibility. But I also expressed skepticism with regard to the paucity of intel or recon you've provided in the open forum. Even your early posts don't have a lot of meat to them. Yes, yes, I know you said that there was a reason for your reticence. But, even in that regard, one can still provide a goodly amount of information without identifying the exact location or name of the provider nor the level of service obtained. Your posts largely lack even that.

And, in that same vein, you're exercising a double-standard. You Want the option of being discreet about what you post, yet you fault us When we want to exercise that same level of caution when someone we do not know just waltzes in and asks for our best recommendation. It doesn't matter whether we provide that to you in the open forum or via PM, we do not know you well enough to satisfy our Comfort level[/U]. Like you, we don't want to jeopardize our Sources and resources. It's nothing personal; it's simply good sense and safe practices.

Also, you say "I don't live the hobbie daily, it's just a hobby for me every so often." That's fine. Whatever style and comfort level you prefer. But, if that's the case, you shouldn't be criticizing those of us who have a different level of involvement in this hobby and wish to take measures to protect that. Likewise, if this hobby is just an "every so often" thing for you, then it's really not fair for you to expect others to provide their very best info to you. Basically, you get out of this hobby and this forum what you put into it.

As for your wallet, believe it or not, it's probably a lot like my wallet and the wallets of most other members of this forum. That is, we obtain our intel, especially our best Intel, via the expenditure of the contents of our wallets, as well as the expenditure of our time. We all work hard for our money, and we all get the same number of hours in a day. We've all left AMPs unsatisfied and a little poorer, so you don't have any exclusive claim to that status. But, giving the impression that our wallets and our time are somehow less valuable than yours is bad form.

With regard to LEO, we all Have to deal with him. The key is to find suitable workarounds, rather than retreating to the insular world of PMs. After all, if the Senior Members here supplied their intel via PMs and didn't post much of value to the open forum, the open forum wouldn't be of much interest or value, would it? Especially for the new members, who have very little to start off with but in some instances show their moxie and mettle by going out and actually gaining intel and sharing it.

Now, even though you called me an A*H* in the open forum, in spite of the civil tone of my initial and follow-up replies to you, I'm man enough to deal with it and not let it further influence my opinion of you. Besides, I still have raging woody from doing' the Alpha Male thing earlier. I'm willing, and I'm reasonably certain the other Senior Members on this forum are as well, to share some of my second-tier or third-tier information with you. After all, this hobby isn't an everyday thing for you, so a less-than-best recommendation should suffice, right?

So, if you want to send me a PM, I'll be glad to give you a couple recommendations on where to visit. They won't be my top-shelf places, but you can get a decent service for your money and you won't have to buy a jar of vaseline afterwards. I'll do this, even though your tone was out of line, because I realize that emotions sometimes get the better of people. And, I'm betting that, if you PM the other Seniors and Alpha Males who called you out, they'll find a couple places for you to check out, as well. How can you lose with an offer like that?

Went to Papaya at late evening. It was closed, phone did not respond. Went down street to corthouse road.

Met Yo-Yo, very nice korean girl, which is in late 3X, with good body and big naturals, heavy robed. She gave me a tovel with large gap, and we come to a shower room. TS was about good, water was about cold, not really touched sensitive areas. Back to room, shivering, because it was really cold. She put me to a table, and wrapped into towel, put on the top hot towels, and wrapped into another towel. I was feeling like a mummy, while she was walking on me. About good massage then. Asked what do I want, little non-aggressive upsell, but finally agreed on standard price, very good standard finish. Chat some time lying on the table and cuddling each other. Very friendly, very good english. Tipped her little higher than we agreed. All adventure take about 70-75 minutes. Definitely will repeat.

Took the forum advice and went to GnG for a relaxing massage. Got Cherry. She looked 40-something with a tight little body and B size rack. The TS was very rushed, but she made sure the equipment was clean. 5 min in the sauna then back to the massage table. Nice Thai style massage. A little rushed. Nice relaxing time. Flip was nice. Left at the 45 min point. Would have been nicer if it wasn't so rushed at the start and if I'd gotten more of my time. Decent time. Might go back, might not.

If you look at my past post you will see that my recent ones are mostly questions, but my older ones have a lot of good info on AMPs and quality providers. I live in cville and we have an uncle Leo for every 4 johns. It's practically a police state! We get very little quality visitors and most local providers are very much UTR. As we all know, the inbox here only holds 200 pm's. I have emptied my inbox numerous times due to the amount of pm's that I share with other sm's. It's just not safe for anyone in my town to post details!

I can see how you could assume that I am "lazy" but that is an incorrect assumption. I am not to lazy to toftt, but rather my wallet isn't big enough to leave an AMP unsatisfied and broke! More and most importantly with all the heat on AMPs I do not want to jeopardize my SO, job or family by running into my uncle!

Therefore I use this board when traveling to find safe and fulfilling AMPs to visit along my way. That is a big part of this board also, to help eachother stay safe and hunt happily!

Hmmm. Maybe I'm getting cranky and grubby in my old age, but of the 45 posts that got you to Senior Level about 80% seem to be requests like this or "me too" type responses to another monger's post. Not a whole lot of substantive Intel seems to flow out of your keyboard and into the forums. Yet, you've asked for our best Recommendation and, in addition, put seven pre-conditions on that intel, as well.

I'm not averse to sharing information, especially with "other sm's," but I have to have reason to believe that the request comes from one who has been generous with his own info. Perhaps you have, via PMs, but that should not displace the info you ought to share in the open forum.

Not sure how my fellow NoVa and DC area mongers feel, but if this were a committee reviewing a loan application, I'd have to vote against your application on the basis that your credit hasn't been fully established yet. We have plenty of recommendations to "lend" but can only spread them so far. (Hmmm. Maybe that's not quite the way to phrase that.)

Recommendation: Try one or more of the NoVa AMPs while you are here, and report back on them. There are a number of AMPs and therapists that, in spite of our best efforts, still need reviewing. It's just that in these harder economic times, we don't have as much "mongering around" cash as we once did. Maintain the necessary discreetness to protect the therapists. Then, on a return visit perhaps your request for "our best AMPs" will get a hearty endorsement. Until then, this member of the NoVa AMP Recommendations Committee will have to defer. Not decline, just defer For the time being.

Nothing against the guy (I am not attacking you) , but I know the type that knows it's easier to ask and be lazy than to try to learn the trade. Some people do that in all aspects of their life. For example, I used to work on friends guitars for free. After a while I told the person,"If you like, I can teach you how to work on your guitar." A few would be like "No, I really don't want to learn." Those are the people I started charging a very small fee. People who actually took interest I would teach the basics and stuff that was WAY above their level I would still do for free (just so they wouldn't mess up their guitar). The point is they showed interest and work ethic and got rewarded. We were all there once and it is only fair that people who only ask or just make "Me too" comments and never help need to go through the process of investigation, TOFTT, and sharing. So, I would say not old and cranky Roman, just rational and fair. And good luck finding a NOVA talent that is mid 20's.

Since my fellow forum members might be wondering why I'm posting a review of a Baltimore AMP on the NoVa boards, the reason is simple: Some of you occasionally have business or personal reasons that take you beyond the NoVa region. Whether it's for a day's journey or a longer period, the requirements for a good local AMP to visit while traveling still exists. So, in that spirit, here is my finding on a Charm City establishment, one that's been there for a while.

FACILITY

Location: 9 (a single-family house about 3 minutes from I-695, Exit 30B)

Convenience: 9. 5 (parking available on street or in back of facility)

Safety: 9 (estimated. Visit was in daytime, but neighborhood appeareded safe)

Cleanliness: 7. 5 (fairly tidy, nothing trashy and no aromas of smoke or food)

Privacy: 10 (separate rooms with doors)

TS: 0 (none visible or offered. Standup shower might have been available, if I had asked)

Massage Table: 9 (clean sheets, new-ish equipment)

THERAPIST

FBAS: 7. 5/7. 5/8. 0/8. 0.

Description: 5'-5".120 lbs. 45-50 ish. 34C, long straight black hair, Chinese.

Communication: 7 (English good enough)

Skill: 7. 5 to 8 (massage was ample, ending as desired)

Overall, the experience did not disappoint. If I were to visit or transit the area again any time soon, this place would be on my short list. Would I drive the distance from NoVa simply to visit this AMP? Probably not, but that's mostly because of the distance and time involved. Including paying the toll if going via the tunnel. However, the. 6 house fee and the services-rendered rate were not out of bounds.

I'm taking a trip this weekend from central VA to Delmarva. I will be going through DC, MD & DE. I'm looking for the best AMP to visit Along my way. Along my way. I've been reading post in this area and it seems like it's slim pickings. Not what I remember from years ago.

Any way here's what I'm looking for.

1. Good looking / mid 20's.

2. It would be nice to choose the girl.

3. A place where I won't get my pic taken by my uncle on the way out.

4. Good TS.

5. Standard Nova finish, maybe CBJ.

6. The option for msog.

7. No clock watchers.

I prefer pm's from other sm's.

I decided to go white water rafting in Centreville. I called ahead of time to make an appointment. I am starting to realized after a couple of other experiences that appointments are kept about 50% of time (or less). If they are busy they just take the customer that is there even if it is five minutes before you are suppose to get there. When I showed up today I get a "Oh, I thought you said (insert time here) O'clock." Nice try honey, no cigar. So I decide to wait in the room for 25-30 minutes for my go to Y#M*. During this time the doorbell and phone is ringing off the hook. So, I finally get my session and the TS was standard, nothing special. Massage starts and seemed normal. But after about 5 minutes she goes into the sensual nail dragging. I am thinking to myself "She can't be done with the massage already?" Was really surprised since I have been seeing Y#M* since Holiday and ALWAYS had good service. So, I do a little nursing on the big naturals. I will say at least they never disappoint. I am asked what I am looking for. So I go with a BJ, which from my experience I know will be a BBJ. Was decent, but then goes into a HJ. I have to tell her to go back to the BJ. Which she does. And when she feels me "swelling" she went to an HJ at the very end. Then of course comes the time where she knows a tip is about to happen. So she begins to apologize in a half-ass way that "Next time she will take care of me better." So, I give her a tip in between her ladies. Of course right away she pulls out to count."Oh, no honey I need more. I did a BBJ." That is when I told her "I paid for one hour and your mamasan decided she would only give me 25-30 minutes. As I get to the door, I turned to her and told her "Tell you manager, that she doesn't do this kind of service to a good customer." I just got a half ass "Bye." Seems like even with new management the old water way is going back to some old techniques they used on me a couple years ago. We as a whole need to send a message to these places. If you screw me, I am going to screw you. They will get the message. In my experience these are the four top problems I have run into:

1) Not keeping your appointment.

2) The old bait and switch, even when you made appointment with specific person.

3) Paying for an hour and getting 20-30minutes.

4) Faux BJ's or promise of FS, but then backpeddling during session.

Don't support places that give poor service. In these times, if you hit them in the pocket book, they WILL get the message. I for one won't be doing any rafting anytime soon.

The girls are Chinese, not Korean. Not saying anything, but when they first flipped to River I stopped in, and the C-girl scammed me for a fakish BJ. $ and she pulled out a piece of plastic-like paper sheet and put it over Peter and went at it. Just wierd. Left. 8 + $ light.

I had a chunky woman a few weeks back. Don't remember her name. First said she didn't do a BJ. Then when I said the tip would be better, she asked if I had a cover. When I said no she left the room and returned with a sheet of plastic wrap. She had a really lame technique. No pressure or enthusiasm. Plus she would stop every 20-30 seconds to re-adjust the wrap. BORING. So she did that for a couple minutes and then went to an HJ. I told her to go back to the BJ or the tip would not be the same. So she went back to BJ for about a minute and stopped. Again, I told her the tip would not be the same. She finally said,"I really don't care!" I always find it amusing when the talent breaks character and the real person comes out.
