I remembered Amy well. How could I forget her and her unique Kitty tattoo? Sure, she has gained a little weight, and looks a little older, but that isn’t all that has changed. As we drove along she explained the weight gain by telling me that she’d spent some time in jail and then rehab. Of cause that didn’t answer all my questions, and yes I did have a few questions.

Well! She’s back, and she’s new and improved. I’ve known Amy for a while, since February 2009. She was my first The Carlisle date. She has been missing for some time. Recently, I first saw her on Letterly, near her old hunt. I pass-by, not recognizing her and made a loop looking for Moyua. As I was stopped at the corner about to make my turn, she came up to my driver’s side and said, ”It’s me Amy, I have the Kitty tattoo down there?” I stared at her as I began to recognize the face and nothing else.

In December of 09 I post re: Alexus - A brief report - a few more pics which introduced Alexus to USASexGuide. And, I ended 2009 with Season Greeting USASexGuide, a really beautiful pictorial featuring Alexus.

In between Nov09 and Sept10, there have been lots more and if you are an Alexus fan I suggest you do a quick search for, “Alexus.” But, Yes! The change has been noticeable. Check out the change in her personal up-keep, make-up and etc. – especially her socks – LOL.

Katie couldn't get down on the dancers pole like Alexus. She gave a great private dance on my pole. (Pole dancing is no joke. Notice how Alexus is able to hold on the pole, upside-down, and no hands. That takes leg strength and talent.)

I was standing there talking to Katie; we were discussing our last date and Ashley. I wasn’t interested in a single date with Katie, we’d been seeing too much of each other lately and I didn’t want her to get the wrong impression – I am nobodies regular. I was standing there talking to two girls who had rocked my world on separate occasions. Why not double up? After all, what I am really after is a good time.

Nice job with the Ashley and Katie pic session. You are correct that the background really distracts from the overall quality of the photos and sends its own message. Imagine the difference if you were at a suite at the Hilton?

There must be a private studio somewhere near by where you can attain the results worthy of your work. Thanks for posting. I learned a lesson here.

This is a problem I have been trying to solve for years. Where to take my dates? It’s a problem I share with most mongers. I thought I had a nice solution, a few years ago; I’d take my dates back to a little place I own. It was my private hide-a-way. Then the word got back to me that guys from this site were showing some interest in finding out the location of my intercity hiding place. A few girls who had been there a couple of times informed me that, “Inquiring minds wanted to know.” With a few exceptions, I rarely take girls there anymore – got to protecting my privacy.

I, like a lot of other guys, thought about getting a place near the avenue. That would be nice; I could set things up so that everything I needed would be ready whenever I visited. Wouldn’t work! Basically for the same reasons – word would get around and I’d have SWers, mongers and maybe even LE watching for my arrival. I thought about setting something up with one of the better $10 spots. I could pay someone to clean things up a bit – dumb idea. They’d bleed me dry and dirty the place up when I not there. I have racked my brains with this one. Nothing works.

The real problem is, I like and do a lot of threesomes. A big handsome black dude standing at the registration desk with two pretty young white girls might be acceptable at the Carlyle (where I’d be charged $40 for an hour) but at most of the better locals it would be a no, no. I need more than an hour, and I don’t want to be ripped-off. At the Carlyle I’d be paying $80 for 2 hour in a crummy room.

The best deal, so far, is in NJ. I got into a Budget Inn a couple of times at $40 for 3 hours. It’s too much of a drive for my taste. I hate putting in that much time and effort unless I am 100% sure about the date. And, that is rarely the case. And, remember I have only talked about the cost of the room and have not even mentioned the other expensives. An easy guesstimation would be $100 for a single and $150 for a Ménage à trois type outing. And what if the date turns out to be a flop?

Sometimes I get lucky. Sometimes when it’s least likely, a background finds me.

Inside I use a diffuser and bounce lighting techniques. For some special lighting situation I setup a tripod. However, in most cases it’s the shutter speed and aperture setting that makes the difference. Inside I’ll use my mobile flash with an umbrella diffuser. Flash lighting works for must situation. If you want to be creative, try to reproduce natural lighting effects from artificial sources.

Outside is a different story altogether. Now you have to contend with nature. In most cases natural lighting will suffice for a snapshot. Creativity comes when you combine nature and technology. It’s extremely hard to bounce light off of a cloud. You can improve on your lighting situations by subject placement, using nature as a backlight. (In my case the light reflection from the river was a great help.) I was able to stabilize my depth of field and enhance the background. You’ll note that where there was not backlighting, the background was flat. Fortunately the sun was down and I didn’t have to contend with coarse shadows.

Remember, there were a whole lot of other technical disadvantages I had to contend with. The biggest problem throughout the entire shoot was avoiding being arrested for indecent exposures (pun intended ).

Same girl, same dress, it’s odd how the flash caused that shimmer. I seldom use my lens diffuser in low lighting situations. I do have a diffuser specially designed for outdoor photography. It is most useful in bright sunlight. The problem is, it’s adjustable and takes a little time (that I didn’t have) and darkens the through the lens view finder at a time when speed (not shutter speed another pun) is of the essence.

I have used Nikon SLR products for years. I use to recommend Canons SLRs because of their ease of operations. Digital cameras are new to me and I have not been able to compare the two brands. It would be interesting to know how they compare today. The biggest consideration, IMHO, is the cost and quality of compatible lens and accessories.
