I think that the pizza box is a bit over the top and less realistic. A McD's bag, a bottle of soda or even a map or some brochures will do nicely. I use a grocery bag instead of the old plain white envelope.

I always carry a pizza box, bags of McDonald's, or a few bags from Walmart filled with chips and sodas. And I like to be this you?on my phone as I walk past the front desk. Never had a problem. Now that would be illegal. The most obvious trick at a hotel is carrying some sort of security blanket. One of the most obvious I've seen is a clipboard. The cleaning lady I referred to saw 3 guys knock and go into that room in 30 min. She's not stupid. I'm was not embarrassed about what I was doing. If someone is embarrassed about what they do, they would be wise to chose not to do it. I think its stupid that it is illegal. I know cops that buy it. I know a female cop that sells it, I know a Cardinal that buys it. I especially appreciated finding out about him because I assumed they were all gay. You all know the political big mouth that would show up at the RNC with 3 slores on his arm then pops up on TV screaming law and order. I've brought Kendal Snow some chocolate and wine the first time I saw her and was invited to stay the night for free. I used to bring cigarettes in a bag to them without them asking and got more of a GFE because of it. Bit most time I just grab what's in my car laying around and put it in a bag. This is mostly right. Most hotels and their employees don't give a shit. But some do, especially in light of all the attention being paid to sex trafficking these days. Fortunately, it's still perfectly legal to have a not-for-pay tryst at a hotel, and hotels are still where a lot of perfectly respectable, legal trysts take place, and hotel managers still want that business. They have no way of knowing whether or not you're paying money for the sleazy sex you plan to have in their hotel. As long as the provider is not a druggie who is going to draw unwanted attention by getting in loud fights with her handler / dealer / boyfriend, and as long as nobody gets shot or stabbed, and as long as you look remotely respectable, you almost never have anything to worry about from the hotel people. I disagree with you. Now I'm not the one to carry anything in to pretend or throw someone off (front desk). I think that's over board. But I do remember a front desk gal calling the cops on a provider because of all the traffic. It was a hotel near 13th and college and it wasn't a crummy one. If memory serves me correctly they busted her and several johns. This was about a decade ago. Now this is rare to have happen but who wants to be in that position. So I would be cautious always but I don't think there is any need to carry in pizza box, McDonald's or something else. Just know where the elevator is and do your business.
