It's between you and the girl and depends on your motivation and her motivation. It's important your motivations are matching, or it will peter out and not end well. If she wants fun, give her fun. If she wants money, give her some money. Keep a first date limited/flexible so you can bail. Do it on her off day with no distractions.

Most veterans here have been burned, many have sworn it off for life. Their thoughts on this are sometimes dark and sad. For good reason, know your motivation and her motivation well.
