LA is ripe, but expensive. And it usually takes a bit more effort; girls want to be wined and dined. Keep in mind they think they're going to land a multi-millionaire being in southern California, so they are eyeing the big fish. If you want success in the area, go to the outskirts. Orange County and the Inland Empire are a better value and just as fun.

Phoenix is good. Haven't spent a ton of time there, but there are some decent women there. Most are looking for an ongoing thing, so meeting up with someone traveling often isn't their thing, but I'e had plenty of good experiences there with the right approach.

That's a tough one to answer as it can depend on a variety of factors. But let's say our criteria is availability of women who are active on the board (s), how attractive the women are, pricing (no GPS), and whether these women follow through on meeting up and having fun.

If those are our criteria, I've had the most success in areas that are more conservative and a bit remote. Salt Lake City was good to me. So was San Antonio. Boise was fun, too.

Similarly, really populous areas can be good if you can communicate in volume. I've had a lot of success in California, but you have to chat up a LOT of girls as most will flake on you. But the density of attractive women is worth the hassle, most of the time.

Seattle can be great if you make that trek, and I've found quite a few women in that area are pretty straightforward about meeting up and getting paid, so it works.

(Since we're in the PNW, I'll add that Canada can be great, too. I know it's not domestic, but I've had a lot of fun across Canada as well.).

I've developed a solid communication strategy for being an out-of-towner since most want an ongoing thing, and it's worked well for me.

Honestly, objectively, Portland is getting REALLY bad for hobbying.

The volume of GPS is staggering lately, and it's been getting worse over the past year or so. I don't know what it is, but it's bad and getting worse, AND fairly unique to this area. I go elsewhere, domestically and abroad, and find MUCH better options for the same or better rates. In Portland, there are a lot of VERY average women who somehow believe they're worth top dollar. I don't get it.

Of course, if you ask them, it's because "we" have been giving them what they're asking for, so it's what they feel their value is. And I got to say, if any of you are actually paying some (most?) of these women what they are asking for, you're pathetic.
