Yes only some bookers will exchange references. In most cases, there is no drama. A few will automatically approve you if you use a familiar booker that books the same girls, since they can see you completed an appointment. For example some friends screened with SSG this way. Even though some people screened with just 2 HX references years ago, recently some people have been asked for 3. That tends to happen when they are busy booking regulars, because they can be more careful.

One thing FA / SDAG does very well is it pads appointments by 10 minutes. Then a girl can cut the time close without being afraid of causing a pileup. Some girls work honest and hard but struggle with the lack of gap between appointments. I mean if we want them to do a good job, we want them to at least have a few minutes in-between right.

In Japan, the premium girls solve this by limiting slots to ensure they perform their best for each and every customer. In particular, the high end premium girls that cost 2x to 3x as much only book in 2 hour blocks. Attached is an example schedule for Milk at toile, plus photos. What an appropriate name for this girl. A red heart stamp means the slot is taken. You'll notice certain days are obviously busier than others. Her max slot is 5 2-hour slots, so if you see 5 hearts it means she works without a lunch break. Notice that in Japan, premium girls rarely work more than 2 days in a row with the exception being right before a big holiday. This is very important again. Some Vitamin D will help, but actually being outside helps the most. Taking a 30 minute walk each day makes a huge difference. Of course, many girls / bookers do have slot limits to help as well.
