Can't speak on Fig but Western has its suspicious moments. Couple weeks ago I cruised to check the merchandise and an unmarked car sounded the sirens towards some girls who were shaking it right behind me as I waited for the light. I thought I was about to get pulled over.

On Fig, saw UCs working that light at 104th with the city camera. Multiple civi cars with dark tints, civi tags with LAPD Vice vests swarming a couple girls and an unlucky guy who I think had just made a pickup. This was mid afternoon. After they jumped out to I'd the subject, a black and white swung by to finish up the stop.

These UC civi cars are all shapes and sizes but the one consistent thing was the super dark tinted windows.

I used to cruise western near pico and Venice a lot a few years ago. I'd get some food sometimes and watch them run their stings there from a good distance. Crazy thing is I was talking to one of the undercover girls the other day. They would change the girls out every couple arrests. They quickly would arrest the dude and drive his car to an empty car wash with vans and two trucks.

Is the FBI still out there cracking down with LAPD, or is that over? Some mongers were warning to steer clear for awhile.

There have been some sweeps, UC and pulling over cars but its getting close to the end of the quarter, the election has passed and soon they will have lost interest in this and have depleted most of their budget, just in time for the warm weather. And hopefully they laid off the people who monitor those city cameras and mail out the Dear John letters by now as well.
