Posts: 1743There is prepaid VISA card you can buy at Kroger that works. I think you load it with $20 to $500, and then you register name and address.

So both of those have worked in the last few days.

What was the experience. I am talking to her and everything seems ok for now.

Posts: 115Alert alert Prettynpinkkk sdm
It sounds like you had a bad experience. Here's a clearer and more neutral way to express your concerns:
"I met a girl who goes by the name Prettynpinkk (Hailee) at her place. She appeared slim and attractive but turned out to be a scammer. She invited me to her house at 185 Bivins Road, Villa Rica, took my money, and went out to get some water and then suddenly, a man claiming to be her boyfriend showed up. He started yelling, saying it was his house, and demanded that I leave.
It seems like they are running a scam together in Villa Rica. I got caught up in it today—has anyone else experienced something similar?

Posts: 665It was her and you caught her period. I've seen chicks using their real names and pictures with their friends on there plenty of times and usually they were just green because they truly are not pros at selling it.

It's what she thought it could be, nothing more. I am not saying she was lying or honest.

If you think it's too much work, I will beg to differ. I have seen this done many times on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. Digital age kids are a different kind of ruthless.
Anyway, not going to argue the truth as we will never really know. Unless she posts a new account. .

I also considered that. But reaching out once is no way stalking. I knew her name, so tracking her down was simple. I contacted her out of curiosity as it didn't seem right. By ultimate result, whether she was truthful or not, I was right.

Posts: 302So what did you do when you contacted her? To me this sounds like stalking. Tell us the whole situation if it is something helpful for us.

Oh, I agree, that could also explain it. I am certainly not niave enough to believe it outright. However, to me, there were a couple of red flags with the profile. First, it was a few months old and was logged into about the same amount of time from when it was created. So basically, it was created and then not logged into. Mostly inactive.

Finally, when I said I contacted her I didn't tell her I knew of her. I just contacted her outside of SA. I didn't want her to know my profile there.

Posts: 1155Or...she didn't want to admit to someone she knows that she fucks strangers for $ LOL. I find that more likely than a vengeful ex bf going through all the trouble to setup an account on the site, especially since she pulled it right after someone she knows asked about it (whereas a vengeful ex likely wouldn't, but instead deny knowing about it while leaving it up). Not saying vengeful ex boyfriends won't do shit, but there's a lot other options that are less effort and / or higher impact than "make a fake dating profile on a p2 p site".

There are fake accounts everywhere. Either from the site owners or others. Ashley Madison was full of fake accounts.

Another great way to weed out possible fakes is check to see how long it's been since they have logged in. If they haven't logged in since they created the account, they are most likely fake.

Posts: 1743And if they removed all those fake profiles of hot girls, then there wouldn't be that many left and then the site then seems less worthwhile to men who haven't subscribed yet (and talked to the fakes/scammers). It's better for Seeking to have fake profiles than no profiles, for a certain town or city or region.

I don't know how to fool it with the selfie step. Maybe have to go downtown and pay some random homeless dude to let you "take his photo". Or I wonder if this could be done online at one of those "fiverr" type sites.
