The confusing ages can also be due to the way shops / soaplands are ran in Japan.

There's a terminology called "Yoshiwara Age" (Yoshiwara being one of the biggest soapland / red light districts in Tokyo) in which 3 years of IRL age is equivalent to 1 "Yoshiwara Age" starting off at 19/20 ish. Thus someone that is marketed at 19 YO or 20 YO will usually be 19-22. A 21 YO will be 23-25 and so on. 23-24 which is usually the upper limits of what they advertise at which will be in the 30's. Unless you go to a specialty shop that has a MILF fetish (like President's Club in Tokyo) then you'll have women that are 40-50+ but advertised at 30 YO. This system dates back to the Edo period and is a long standing practice.

Another thing that some shops will do is the age does not change as long as the provider stays in the same shop. So for example a 27 YO starting fresh at a shop will be billed as a 22 YO and if she's been in the shop for 4 years, she will be 31 YO IRL but still billed as 22 YO.

For those reasons, you should really take the ages listed with a grain of salt.
