She's removed it after I called her on it, but some sleuthing revealed that one of her "secret" pics was of someone else entirely. I can't think of a non-scam reason for that, so avoid.

I have the same questions, though I've occasionally had luck with the site. As near as I can tell, there's a couple reasons:

1) They will pull profiles from their other sites without informing the girls, so the SB's might literally not even know they've been posted, much less see your messages.

2) While the "new profile" list is generally accurate, the "last logged in / online" list is almost complete fiction. I've sat next to a girl, her phone 100 yards away, and watched her be on top of that list (and had to promptly apologize for pressing her for constantly logging in despite us having an arrangement when she swore she hadn't done so in a month). Weirdly, some who log off the site DO go down on the list. As near as I can tell, based on my and others' experiences, it lies about a handful it considers popular, as bait. Click on a few favorites repeatedly and lo and behold, they'll be logged in every time you visit.

On the plus side, they seem to have removed the feature where it would ask girls for an "intro" email, then quietly send that without their knowledge or consent to bait people in to spending credits to open them. It used to happen all the time, but it seems the few messages I get are legit.

In short, it's a borderline scam site, but whatever their marketing efforts are, they seem to be working: it has the most legit new accounts. It's frustrating, especially because several less scammy sites with better features are a goddamn ghost town.
