If you ever make them angry, for whatever reason, they can threaten to expose you. 2.) In my case, it's as you stated, provide name, age, and race with references and that'll get me through 90% of the time. The remaining 10% are usually when there's friction between bookers so you'll stuck with alternate methods (e. G. HX, P411, PII, etc.).

Building an HX network works too - that is the best way in the long-run, but a lot of people don't have the patience for that. It means you don't have to give up PII since you are using your reputation as proof (you are using your HX account as the stake). Personal references (IRL friends and family) also work but you use common sense there. I might make one of those every 10 years. Online friends do not count, it has to be someone you'd trust in your house.
