Only posting this as a reminder to please get tested periodically. I have no symptoms. It's curable, but only if you know about it.

I've weighed sharing this for quite some time and finally have decided to speak up. I've been hitting strip clubs in the Akron area periodically since about 2001 or so.

I've never had any issues until last year when I got a BBBJ from a dancer in one of the seedier Akron clubs. I won't name names because this isn't life or death for me and I informed the dancer so she could get treated. But I never thought in a million years I would get a case of syphilis from a strip club BJ, but here we are.

I'm 100% certain of the source since I hadn't been with anyone but one other person for several years leading up to it. Literally my second strip club blow job in my life and I ended up with a nasty itchy spot in the underside of Mr. Happy. Now, I'm in my 40's and have to admit I had no clue syphilis spread through oral sex. The doctor was initially worried it was herpes. Which it wasn't but color me shocked to learn that genital herpes also spreads through oral. I'd thought up until then that oral herpes was what you got in your mouth and lips and genital on your boy and girl parts. But nope, either strain can spread by either method.

In hindsight, I'm thankful it was syphilis that could be cured with two courses of antibiotics, rather than herpes for life or something far worse.

I guess I'm saying, use caution. Consider covered activities when you're dealing with someone who has serviced dozens of hood rats in the last couple months. Syphilis is pretty present in inner city Akron and it can F you up if it goes untreated. Stay safe.

If you want to do BB, then take these precautions. 1) Get on PrEP. If you take a single pill daily, it will eliminate your risk of HIV acquisition. Talk to you PCP. You don't need to give them specific details about what you do. If they aren't comfortable with providing PrEP then they can refer you to someone who is. 2) Get vaccinated for Hepatitis B if you aren't already. 3) Get HPV vaccine. It won't protect you from all types of genital warts, but it will protect you from the most common ones and the ones that cause cancer. 4) If you are on PrEP, then your doctor will screen you every 3-4 months for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and HIV. PrEP won't protect you from gonorrhea, chlamydia, or syphilis, but those are treatable. HIV is also very treatable, but you don't want to get it. 5) There are a lot of people who sell sex for drugs that are HIV positive, and no regulations or infrastructure protecting mongers from them. Stay safe. Have a blast.

I got 2 out of 3 shots of Gardasil 9 before COVID, and now I am pass 45, and pharmacy does not let me finish the last shot. Driving me crazy. I might try AHF and see whether they would give Gardasil 9 to 45+ people.

I am also not taking BB action and I am also not seeing BB girls nowadays. Just too risky. Too much hassle.

Great tip about the photos, the top right photo is the face I remember 10 years ago. Yes she looks the same but she feels less firm, softer. Good muscle tone and the best hair of kgirls. It's where I went for my blood tests after getting treated with antibiotics to quit bb. The location is new and I went to the Central Health Public Center. Take note of their hours:

They have me step through the metal detector. To the left and up the stairs. The actual clinic serves all people and there are 3 counters. Counter #3 is a bit hidden and that is the checkin / line for STDs. I always try to show up 9 am if they open 9 am. I tell the lady I'm there for std testing, she explains a few things and confirms my info, and I fill out forms. It's $40. If I test positive they will call me, or as a last resort mail me. I've used the county clinic (different location) 17 years. One time I got a letter from "San Diego County Health" reminding me to get my next Hepatitus vaccine shot, which I had started. Hep B and Gardasil 9 are vaccines you want in this hobby. The latter is genital warts and risk of cancer from the virus.

One is especially at the old location, the ladies there were professional and dealt with std testing all day, knew a lot about it, and focused on giving me good care. My stance is that getting HIV from PIV is really rare and hard, but the risk exists and HIV is tabboo. I have a lot of more likely ways to die or be in serious trouble than that, top of the list being a car accident. That said, this makes it a very personal decision each individual can make so I leave that info there.

With bb it is almost a given that you will get bacteria sooner or later, but STD clinics only test for the serious ones. If you are a single guy, it won't matter to you if you are asymptomatic. But once you are thinking of starting a new relationship, you will want to get treated with antibiotics. I've written my story before. I peed negative for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea but still infected a new girlfriend 3 years after going bb in TJ (with just one girl). So I am extra careful when taking on a new partner for that reason. Yes I might be negative for the more serious ones. When I asked the doctor the official diagnosis it is NGU. Basically anything other than Gonorrhea that is bacterial and irritates the urethra (when painful to pee). It is much more noticeable in women, that's the problem.

Condoms work. I was mostly condom all these years with only bbbj and as I said, herpes is the one thing you will get no matter what. They do not have a vaccine for that. I got it on my scrotum so it must have touched the genital even though I wore a condom. No serious symptoms after the first year, but again if you have a partner they will then get it and you pray they don't have symptoms.

Kiko is 44 now and still looks the same as when she she was 33 and lost the baby fat in her cheeks. They recently updated with unblurred photos. Top two on her SDAG page are from 2011-2013. Bottom are from 2015-2016. They might as well have been taken yesterday with how close she looks to that today.

Here was the issue. They told me they will call 3 times if they can't reach me they send a letter. Well I generally fly every week. I was lucky they called and I answered but they still sent the letter. I was able to cancel and called in sick and was able to intercept the letter.

Can anyone remember how long it takes the results to come back and any advise on how to make sure they don't send letter.

I could set up a 2 week no fly period.

If you use a company like STDCheck.com the results taker 1-2 days.

STDs and UTIs can persist without the proper treatment.

You should consider going to a clinic that can determine the nature of your infection. They'll examine you and analyze a urine sample to identify the type of bacteria infecting your urinary tract. The sample is cultured and tested for antibiotic sensitivity and specificity.

Agree with this, it might just be a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) but it could be something else that requires treatment.
