Been reading up on here for a month or so now in preparation of my quick trip to NYC next month. I'll be there for just two nights and was wondering what would be my best "bang for my buck" as far as agency goes? Debating on getting verified at one spot between DDY, RS8, or SmilingEyes.

Also, I've seen some chatter on here that NYAF doesn't require verification? Is that still the case where I can call and walk in?

Lastly, I've been trying to find cheap housing for one of my nights and it seems my best bets are a hostel or some airbnb, but they all seem to have crazy service fees. Anyone know of a good sleep pad in Manhattan that is reliable enough?

You can't walk in NYAF. You have to make appointment regardless.

Sometimes they require verification and sometimes not. Depends on business. Other places you listed definitely require verification but you can work with them usually. Like yes, they will start off with I'd and LinkedIn. But most can be negotiated to something else.

These are very different shops. NYAF is basically Chinese total sluts.

R8 and SE are mainly Japanese with BBFS available.
