Frankly, I call BS. You're on an "anonymous" message board yet you give no more detail than a "reliable source" giving you info that is "risk". Why not get it out here so we can all see how "significant" the "risk" is? Then what really makes me question it is all the other "town fathers." bs. If it was a true "risk", the other stuff wouldn't be a major concern.

The hammer has dropped. And as the persons arrested are pressed, they will sing to cut a deal. We have not heard the end of the take downs in Tolland. Mark my words.

TOLLAND, Conn. — Three men associated with a strip club in Tolland were arrested on Wednesday a year after Homeland Security raided the business.

Officials announced that xxxxx, xxxxx and xxxx have been charged with 12 criminal counts.

Xxxxx owns the Electric Blue Café, xxxxx was the club's manager and bookkeeper, and xxxxx was a bouncer who was responsible for hiring dancers.

The Department of Justice said on Wednesday that many dancers, who performed sex acts for money, were not legally authorized to live or work in the USA The money was used to pay business expenses and to fund xxxxxx trips to casinos.

Xxxxx and xxxxx are also accused of faking tax return information in 2020,2021 and 2022 by underreporting how much money the business made. It's anticipated that $5. 7 million in revenue from.

Illegal activity wasn't reported. Xxxxxx is also accused of committing fraud by receiving $150,000 in economic injury disaster loan during the pandemic.

Xxxxx has been charged with conspiracy to file false tax returns, conspiracy to commit promotional and concealment money laundering, engaging in a monetary transaction with proceeds derived.

From prostitution, aiding and abetting the filing of a false tax return and willful failure to file a personal tax return, and wire fraud.

Xxxxx has been charged with conspiracy to file false tax returns and conspiracy to commit promotional and concealment money laundering.

All three have been charged with conspiracy to use an interstate facility to promote or facilitate prostitution and with unlawful employment of aliens.

The Town of Tolland initially suspended the business following the raid, but dropped the temporary suspension after the business filed an appeal, with the town manager stating that it would be "a significant expense" to fight it.

Took at trip there on a recent Wed. When they are supposed to be having their 'so you think you can strip competition. No dancers on stage. Place was pretty vacant. Saw two ladies there. One was dressed nicely but looked like she had serious demons. Very very thin. The other was about 100 lbs over weight. Had one beer and left. First time I actually couldn't even get comfortable at the blue.

I first entered the place around 2003 while driving to Boston. It was mid day. I was new to mongering and similar activities. I probably had only a handful of lap dances before the Electric Blue. The dancer was hot (most of them were). She took me to the LD room and gave me a couple of high-friction dances and asks if I want another one (of course I did) and put her hand down my pants and gave me a handy. After, she told me to wear loose pants of soft materials in the future when getting lap dances (I was wearing jeans). In future visits I would try to always wear sweatpants with an elastic waistband. I was quite pleased and went back somewhat frequently. I've gotten bjs and FS in the LD room. There was only one time I spent more than $100 in the place (I'd go in with exactly $100 in my pocket to cover beers, dances and tip) I found this hot, young American white dancer and let her talk me into the champagne room (when it was still new). We got in there and she was full of all these excuses. I didn't even get much of a lap dance. It was a total waste of money and one of only a very few times I left with premises without nutting. That said, it was my only negative experience in the place.

Went to luckys last night, got there at 11 left at closing. There wasnt as big of a crowd as I expected it to be for a Saturday night. 4 bartenders who were twiddling their thumbs half the time. Didn't see much action from the VIP sections. Seems like the dancers had their regulars over and were only interested in hanging out with them. Only had 1 dancer come over and chat me up the entire time. I enjoyed the music and drinks were standard strip club prices. Unless I know someone there, I won't be going back.

It's been almost a year since the bust. However, there doesn't appear to be any news of the advancing legal case in the media. Hmmm.

I doubt that LE and / or the feds are doing whatever they are doing to bust guys getting a lap dance. However, I like to relax while enjoying a lap dance and I am not certain I could get that relaxed thinking about LE / Feds rolling in.

It is a shame because EB was a good place back in the day (10+ years ago).

I do not have direct evidence of cameras or stool pigeons-only a reliable source that advises of detail that I consider a risk. It's a great spot and I have been a patron there for over 15 years, but the fact of the matter is that the place is now on a lot of radar screens. We must keep in mind that the Tolland Town Manager is the former Ex-O at the HPD and then went to the State Police, and then was hired by the Tolland Town Council without any experience in municipal governance. Hmmm.

Town fathers want the place shut down, obviously.

Thank you for the explanation. The place has been on many radars for years, but more now than previously in light of the human trafficking raid. The extras that could be had there are a local issue, but once the human trafficking issue came up, it turned into a federal law enforcement matter,. My guess is that is what you and your source may be referring to with respect to enhanced scrutiny of the place.

Granted I don't have any law enforcement experience, but personally, if I was interested in going after club patrons for illegal activities I wouldn't precede that with a very public and high profile bust of the place. I'm not saying it's a great idea to go there right now shopping for extras but I doubt that patrons are who law enforcement are interested in.

Yeah, none of this makes sense. I know dancers there. It's business as usual*.

*There are more new dancers there than before, and they tend to be more your standard dancer and not the EB type. But all the ones from prior to the bust are doing the same things, and some of the new ones.
