Basically, Scythe is right. Do what you have to do to get verified with one AMP and you should be able to use that as a reference with others going forward. So what if they ask for your LinkedIn or other small bit of personal info? Well worth it! Nearly all of these NY area AMPs rotate the same talent and have the same ownership / management. So do what you have to do to get on the list. In all the years I've been doing this hobby, I've never heard of a single breach of personal info. They want your business and want to keep it on the DL as much (probably more) than you do!

Rule of thumb is it providers ask condom or no condom right off the bat, ask how much? If it is not what you want don't bother negotiating and just say condom is fine. I just started to read posts from other mongers in this forum. One monger had listed several links to establishments which I thought were all located in Manhattan. After clicking on one of the links it turns out to be located in or around Jersey City, New Jersey. I had text them explaining how I had gotten their information, and that I needed some information before making an appoint to see them. I was hoping to get the address so that I could enter it into my g. P.S. On my phone to see how long the drive time would be. I also wanted a clarification on the pricing and menu options. I did not want to arrive there and be surprised with sticker price shock. Here is what they said. They wanted to know my age and race. Then they sent me this text. See the attachment. I understand the need to take precautions for a variety of reasons, but to give out this kind of personal information to strangers is ridiculous! I don't know who these people are, if they are going to keep my information on file, use the information to create new identity theft, or even worse, use it against me as blackmail. In either case, I don't care. These establishments are in the entertainment / hospitality industry. They should be grateful that I have visited them or even have considered seeing them. Their is plenty of these shops around Manhattan in the surrounding areas. I have been fortunate to find one or two locations in Flushing / Queens who take good care of me without all this headache.

I'm sorry for the venting, I'm just trying to find out if all or a majority of the establishments in Manhattan follow similar guidelines. If so, I may just continue doing business in Flushing / Queens. I would appreciate it if any fellow members would consider sharing a lead or two. I'll be happy to share my resources in exchange.
