Krystal called me about a month or so ago. She said that she was diagnosed with something that caused calcium to build up where it's not supposed to that would lead to sores and ulcers. She was also diagnosed with a more serious condition in her kidneys that caused the proteins to fold the wrong way. That condition had no cure and a 50% survival rate at 6 months after diagnosis. She would have had to been getting near 24/7 treatment to beat the odds.

She's been referred to with all those names. She's the one that was hit in the head with a pipe and had her head shaved for surgery. A really cool / mellow woman.
