This is objectively a stupid thing to say. Not only do police have some discretion on which laws they wish to enforce or punish you for, but I don't think I've ever said I would be concerned if cops were stopping me from mongering. Maybe I consider assault and robbery more serious offenses then prostitution or solicitation. Or maybe you think police should treat jaywalking and loitering with the same urgency as violent crime.
