I love this place along with the hottest madame in town (Nicole) but YMMW on that point.

I stopped in last week and enjoyed it so much that I joined they gym across the street.

I have family / friends who live / breathe in downtown Fairfax. Now when I visit I have a legit place to park and an excuse to be off my cell for and hour and come home sweaty or with a fresh shower.

Doubt if I will actually use the gym much. I did go in there one afternoon and spotted more than a few university gym queens in tight spandex. That, and a few deadlifts, got my testosterone pumping for the visit at May.

If it's the same Amy I saw (short hair, slim), she gives a terrific strong massage.

I think May Wellness is worth going to simply because of the quality of the massage and how clean the place (room, sheets) always is.

Golden Therapy on Leesburg Pike went through a patch last year with some frumpy and uninspiring providers.

But a rule in this business is that things change, and I thought I'd give them another shot. Lately I have had great attention from Candy and June. 30's-40's with soft clear skin, firm titties, and a nice attitude. June even got naked and climbed on to the table with me for a cuddle before we were off for the main event, and never asked about the tip.

The other rule is YMMV but I will say both times were good value.

Lots of gems in your post above, I generally agreed with PJ initially as those of us who have been out here for a while, know what we are going for when we go to an AMP. For me personally, I have done the 360 of being in this game exceeding a decade LOL. I settled for AMP's as I find its quite an affordable way to get a decent massage and as they say, either a happy ending of a nice dream. And also, I am far too old now to be playing "mission impossible or possible" at hotels or questionable locations! I had a "proper" massage place I used to frequent and massage plus tip usually set me back $. 8 and nothing happy at the end. (well a bottle of water and a cup of herbal tea) LOL that used to (before inflation as you noted) give me two good trips to an AMP.

You hit the nail on the head with several good points, I try to narrow my AMP visits to a handful of places to create a rapport and in most cases get better service, but that also does not always serve as a guarantee. What is a guarantee, is the NOVA area is superlatively flush with AMP's one should definitely be able to find a few that are not pushy and meet the need. If one location flames out, there are usually 10 others to chose from.

One thing I will note is, read the forum for goodness sake! With the great information posted here daily by the adventurists, you should be able to find a number of great AMP's to visit and frequent, but of course, you occasionally will need to TOFTT so we can continue to get great info. I have been to a few AMP's that I will certainly not revisit.

Prices have most certainly gone up, I do feel they are still trying somewhat to recover from the pandemic as the greater number of them shut down, I recall having to suffer through a few massages by Mamasans during the Covid! One last last point I'd make, most of the AMP's out there also want repeat business, so one can call up the locations and speak to the mamasan. A few adventurist have totally slammed AMP's and I don't believe that is fair, I have also gotten some of the best massages I have ever had at an AMP, in fact that is why I stopped shelling out $. 8 for a visit.

Fun fact, I found an AMP I visited in the same complex as my usual massage spot and one day leaving the AMP, my "regular" masseuse saw me and asked what I was doing there as I had not called! Oh just driving by in the area. I am sure she saw my gleaming oily arms, but she said nothing, needless to say, as I said above with the embarrassment of AMP's we have I didn't need to go back there again!

As you always say, always be nice to the ladies, almost retired, but not quite yet!
