If you use GV on your regular smartphone, there is a non-zero possibility of your real life crossing over into your sugar life. IK people it has happened to who post on here.
For those of us w / SOs, this could be absolutely fatal. It isn't a good idea for you bachelors either, because it can provide a very simply way for a SB to learn your true identity.
I use GV to contact everyone. I was chatting w / a girl on seeking and she gave me her number. When I enter them into my phone, I usually give them a name and city in my contacts. However, she came up as a business already known to google. From all that I learned her real name, identity, etc. Etc.
Don't let this happen to you.

Is there a way to sign up with a carrier and insist on a private number?

Wow, yeah long are the good ole days of no reddit forum etc. A SB doing that much research including looking up numbers is not the type of SB I'm looking for. She's obviously trying a little too hard and has probably GPS intentions and will suck in the sack.

I offered 300 and she said okay. Now she's not replying back to my snap. Probably for the better I guess based on the reviews I'm seeing. She did send me a hell of a picture with her on fours from behind LOL.
SD.

I was ok with her until I asked for a better facial pic. I got one, & just not my type. Good body, but not a good enough face.
That's only my opinion, though. She's not a scammer & if her face is acceptable to you, I suspect a good time can be had.

Based on her build and back tattoo she looks a lot like a girl that used to advertise on backpage. She started off with great reviews and then I recall there were some rip-off reports. I can't say for certain that it's her, but I'm betting it is.

I think that it is very likely to be impossible to keep this information out of the hands of info brokers. Especially in Georgia. In California we have a right to prevent someone from *selling* our personal information, but I could also see them getting around this by giving it away to the brokers (for other considerations).
I have a SO, my anonymity w / SBs is essential, and the only way I see to do this is with a burner phone and a texting app. I personally use Google Voice. I use TracFone for my burner, I find that very economical. You could have that for like $100/ yr. After purchase. For cash, from Target or Walmart.

In my experience, this is super common. I still use google voice though.

They want to interview me by phone.
Tell them to quit fixing that which is not broken. It sounds like they are trying to move toward the swipe-right-swipe-left "feed" nonsense. I just want a filter where I can specify what I'm looking for, and show me the results. I don't want something that's trying to imitate twitter or some other app, just to change something to justify their jobs. My advice to them is that if they want to change something try it by creating a new site and leave the old one alone. If the new method is superior, customers will gravitate to the new site.
I've seen other sites do what they are trying to do, and if they follow suit it will be the end of the hobby as we know it.

I have the "Mr Number" app loaded on my phone, and most of the time it will reveal the name behind a non VOIP line. Sometimes it says "Suspected Spam", sometimes "Personal Line". But don't kid yourself that they're oblivious to these lookup mechanisms. These girls do network, they learn most of what they know from social media these days and most of them are very savvy at searching and figuring out how to verify as much as they can about a guy.
Now, in terms of the number of them that actually do it (versus the ones that know they can easily). The number of girls that actually complain about my fake number is maybe 1 out of 75 or so. Some of them don't really complain, they just say "is this your real number?" and I know they are fishing to see if I will lie or whatever. Why else would they ask that if they didn't already look it up? So I usually explain my reasons why they will not get my real number at first and most of them want an arrangement enough to just accept that and move on. The number of girls that do that (inquire about whether its my primary cell or not) is much higher. Like maybe 1 out of 15 or 20. So yeah, lots of them are looking up that number the very first thing when I send it to them on the site.

That old ploy again. Tell them if you will provide feedback for lifetime, unbannable subscription.

Filtered Out Message Box
Every now and then a woman messages me for the first time and it lands in the filtered out messages box instead of the inbox. Anyone know why? Does that mean the profile who sent the message is more likely a scam or something?

This one asked about sensual fun service and said she gets paid after. Offline, she sent a list of "services" (her word) and prices without any prompting from me. She has asked me multiple times what "services" I want. It's odd and off putting. Pass for me. YMMV.

EDIT she sent another unsolicited message saying she needs a deposit because SA guys often dont show up. The scammer with this profile is dumb. I had already said I wasnt interested in a straight up transaction like she had offered. The communications felt off from the beginning. And then she confirmed she is in fact a scammer. My gut reaction was right.
